With that win we've come top of the third tier of the second phase which is nice! Hopefully it's a good sign for next year that when the first years stepped up we got better.

Can't say I've seen much of N'Goy but I've heard good things so does anyone who watch the Under 18's regularly think he's worth a sub appearance before the end of the season? would be nice to see some young blood coming through that's for sure.

Well he played for the U21's along with Shenton last night, so it won't be today. I'd like him to feature though, mainly as our strikers are exhausted or injured.

That was my thinking behind it really. Maybe if we beat the points target in the next couple of games we might see N'Goy and Shenton on the bench against Liverpool, hopefully.

Although I'm not 100% sure I think N'goy plays for the u21s already, so he's ahead of his level already which is promising.

I can't see it. He's only just started playing for the U-21's and it is out of having no one else (all be it he has stepped to the mark marvellously so). If Crouch or Diouf get injured and Waring is still injured then yes he should but for now it's too much too soon.

I have no idea! I thought he was either injured or being saved for today with Crouch only good for 20 mins and Odem having another knock, I was curious to see if he'd sneak in.

It was mentioned in the program from the spurs game. We only retained about 8 or 9 I think

None of them are close enough to try for the first team yet and may never be.
The young left back we've just signed on loan from Birmingham (until his contract expires in June), looks decent and quite rapid and he's still got time to learn how to cross the ball and beat the first man!
If you want to see them go to a game, you'll see for yourself they are not ready for the step up.
I'm sure agent Bojan is on the case to fill the academy with players from our feeder club!

Cant afford a season ticket and even if I could, I couldnt get to Stoke often enough,so would just be depriving somebody else of a seat......So... on a day when I could get to Stoke, I was buying up as much of the club shop as I could afford.....when....Dave Evison started speaking to me about something called the Potters Foundation. Desperate to support my club, even from afar, I signed up. No disrespect to Dave, but I could have been setting fire to my money for a number of years, yes facilities looked better, but facilities dont play matches or score goals. I was at the Crapital Cup game against Portsmouth when Ollie Shenton came on and was dead proud. I will continue to be a member of the foundation, will continue to pay my money and hope that eventually there is some bang for my buck........after all Southampton have done it. Maybe next year Dave?

The U-21's lost their final game yesterday to the league champions Middlesborough 3-0 at the Brit.
I noticed one of the players we've been linked with Dom Telford has just started following Stoke on Twatter.....

He reckons they don't put his numbers in the draw as he must be the only person never to win anything. He is especially upset when they get the draw winners out on the pitch. :-)

Think he won the Blackpool Supporters' Young Player of the Year or something like that. Pretty impressive for an 18 year old.
