Hellu! The results haven't gone our way lately. Saints got one point today and West Brom are ahead of us. Therefore it doesn't matter if we win vs Leicester, we can't win the Championship. I can see West Brom beating QPR by 5-0 or something! QPR are crap, especially at this time of the season and lost vs Norwich 3-0. A draw would be enough for us to reach the Prem, but I think it will be very difficult for several reasons: (1) Leicester do need a win, and they will try everything they can to get it. (2) Stoke haven't always played well or rather got the points they needed recent years vs worse teams in or near the relegation zone (or in the Cups for that matter). (3) Griffin might be back? (4) Hull seem to be in a better form and/or probably better motivated than Ipswich are now - it's unlikely Crystal P will lose their game at home. And, as we all know, if we only get to play in the Play offs, it's no good for us. We wont even reach the final in that case. Karma?

I have just realised that West Brom hadn't won as I thought...
I feel so much better now.
We will be Champions now as I forecast months ago...Phew...!! What a relief.!

Really? Do you really think so?
I think the chance of that is less than 3%.

Yes, I know "Do it for IlfordDave"! And as I said: A draw would be enough for us to reach the Prem, but I think it will be very difficult for several reasons: (1) Leicester do need a win, and they will try everything they can to get it. Do the players - let's say at Portman Road - get any info about scores in the other games, at half time?? Let's say Crystal P is in the lead than by 3-0... and Watford...

musik, I know you're the prediction king but you're either reading the table wrong or you're being way too pessimistic. Leicester just don't have the quality to beat us unless we don't turn up and if we can keep the same team we've had for the past two games and only bring Griff on for a ceremonial last 10 minutes, we WILL turn up.

Musik, to cut it short it would all have to go complete tits up for us not to make it! We would have to lose and Hull win. We have to go out the first 20 mins and put them under the firing squad, we need a 2-0 lead at half time and I believe that is what we will do. 0-0 at half time is really not going to be good for us, or my health unless Hull are losing 2-0. Sunday will be great ;D

If West Brom do win 5-0, which i doubt they will, because QPR will be up for putting one over a midland team; we just need to win 23-0 and we will be champions. Although I think it might be a nervy game at the Brit with Stoke scraping a draw or winning one-nil. STOKE! will go up. We must do our part and be behind the team from the kick-off until the final whistle. If you can still talk after the match then you haven't done enough shouting or singing. I think we should get a world record for 25,000 singing "She felt my dick in her hand and she laughed no more."

it just worries me that the cosmic wheel always manages to roll over Stoke. It would be the case we are playing a team that need to win on sunday, and it is the team who stopped us from getting to the Prem the last time we were this close, and that we were 5 mins away from the Prem when Hull scored on saturday etc.. you can see the entry in one of those sporting disaster type books. "Only 5 years ago, non league Stoke City were 5 minutes away from reaching the Premiership when Champions League double winners (2011, 2012) Hull City scored a winning goal in the 85th minute to deny Stoke City promotion. Of course history dictated what happened on that final day of the 07/08 season when Stoke City, winning 1-0 with 2 minutes to go conceded 2 late goals to a controversial substitution where a heavily disguised Dele Adebola was introduced into the Leicester attack, with his winning goal, originally heading off target was deflected into the net by a pink panther that had blown onto the pitch. Leicester were fined 3 packets of Hula Hoops by the football league for fielding an uneligible player. Hull City having to win to go up scored 6 late goals to beat Ipswich 7-6 in the 23rd minute of extra time. Following the final whistle the Britannia stadium was struck by a freak hurricane which blew the rooves off all of the stands, which sadly were not insured, the insurance money being spent of Jon Parkins pie ration." You can just see it happen... :-(
