Talking about the USA on Talksport, Matt Holland has just said that he's been very impressed by Geoff Cameron.
Well done Geoff lad! :-)

Surely not? Cameron clearly held us back last season, imagine how well we'd have done with Wilko at RB.....

Is Holland on the payroll of the CIA or something?! Pro-American dirge in my opinion, pure propaganda.
The Oatcake has spoken and Cameron is wank.

Well he is making the right noises but his bid to block Jean-Claude Juncker becoming the next European Commission president looks set to fail.
It's a results business in the end I'm afraid.

So... Matt Holland is impressed by Cameron...Kenny Cunningham is impressed by Begovic...Rio Ferdinand tweeted that Odemwingie should have been on from the start for Nigeria against Ghana and Ukyestony can't speak highly enough of Palacios. Everyone's happy.

Everyone's happy. Well three of those four are 'spot on'. Couldn't possibly say which like.

When i searched Geoff Cameron on twitter after the Portugal game loads of Americans were absolutely slating him. Even though he was man of the match against Ghana. I can understand everyone slating a player one week and praising them the next. But there were only four days between the two games

Matt Holland the Charlton Athletic legend has spoken, anyone who didnt rate Geoff has been put in their place. Bardsley is now regretting signing for us and Shawcross and Huth are shitting themselves. When Matt Holland tells Talksport he is impressed with a player the whole world listens.
(i'm not having a dig at Geoff, i'm delighted hes having a good world cup, he is a credit to the club)

I'm guessing he watched the first USA game and not the second. It's been a mixed tournament so far for our Geoff.

What were his thoughts on the Netherlands?
"Holland impressed by Dutch" would have been better.

I think he's added to Stoke when looked at as a whole. He's had some excellent games, some shockers and plenty of average ones.

Asmir has just been steady, but nothing spetacular I think. Geoff has had both a strong game and a weak game in my opinion.

Cameron was great first game but shaky against Portugal. He was playing against one of the best players on the planet in his defence, marking Ronaldo must be a nightmare as he plays wherever he feels like. Doesnt excuse the schoolboy error for the first goal, it happens, but there you go. Go Geoff! Be amusing if they beat Germany tonight
