Woy is an owl face fucktard Gouranga. I take offence at these comments as I am an Owl lover and fucktard is not a word, and while I am at it, rats arse is a bit posh - should it not be ass. Here are my 10 reasons: 1. I don't really give a rats ass about the England team 2. I don't really give a rats ass about the England team 3. I don't really give a rats ass about the England team 4. 1. When you have one of the greatest LB in the world you take them. Imagine Brazil leaving Cafu at home in 2002.
2. England lack a proper DCM
3. Rooney still needs to deliver.
4. We still lack a proper intelligent goal scorer. Someone like Michael Owen or Jermaine Defoe.
5. I genuinely think we missed Walcott.
6. We look 10x better at keeping the ball then in previous tournaments. But there's no point in having possession without penetration especially when you're 1-0 down.
7. We are really, really, really shit at set pieces.
8. Why the fuck did Roy spend so much time at southampton last season, only for them to barely feature.
9. Shawcross must surely get a call now.
10. England lack a truly world class player.

Reading through these posts I can't help feeling that your all being very generous to Wilshere ...he was no where near as good as you all mention .
I was waiting for a caption saying "England possession 56% ....Costa Rica possession 44% .....Wilshere on the floor 64% " to be flashed up on screen
As for Woy's summing up of the last game ??"I saw an England team in total control " I think he must have dozed of and dreamt that ....!!
Personally I saw " a nation switch over ,channels in the hope that Italy got knocked out "
How the F*** can it be a positive World Cup in regard to performance , but disappointing in regard to results , as the pundits seemed to insist on saying constantly ?

1. England are not 10th in the world as the FIFA ranking suggests. I reckon they will be placed maybe 26th out of 32. About right 2. They have not been under-achieving all these years 3. Too few of the players in the "best league in the world" cannot do the basics well and/or cannot concentrate for the full 90 odd minutes 4. Hiring a psychiatrist appears not to have worked. Either for England or (in a Liverpool context) for Suarez 5. Too often players many people would consider (PL) journeymen are able to match and out-perform England players on world class salaries 6. This was not - despite what we were told - a well prepared "group" 7. Players can look stellar in the PL - but that does not mean they will not be found out on the international stage. They very often are 8. The jury is out on the "new generation", but as we are told that every couple of years, that is probably not the solution. Plus it ignores the quality of "new generations" developing in other countries 9. Glen Hoddle and Gordon Strachan remind me of the Drunken Bakers in Viz 10. We will be having the same post-mortem in two years' time.

Einstein said the definition of insanity is to keep doing the same things and expect a different result.
So I've learned (by running a prediction comp based around England) that half of my staff are insane.

Negatives
1. I don't know much about football 2. Our definition of "good" players may need to be re-visited 3. Winning is more important than taking part (notable exception: Australia) 4. You don't always get what you deserve (Croatia v Brazil, Italy v Uruguay) 5. Following England is invariably frustrating and disappointing
Positives 1. Our press and pundits appear to know even less about football than me 2. Football can still surprise, delight and amaze me. (Spain v Holland was an incredible game of football) 3. Organisation, tactics, fitness and commitment is still a great leveller 4. Football, thank the Lord, is still very much a team game, though often decided by moments of individual brilliance 5. Supporting Stoke City in the 21st century is like living in a fairy tale

Nothing will change until we get rid of the idiots at the FA who haven't played the game at any kind of decent competitive level. I doubt we'll a team ready to mount a challenge at the 2022 World Cup.
