We're on a stag party there this weekend. I have been a few times with work and the choice of bars seemed more pretentious than old school pub crawl! Anybody on here got some recommendations? Looking for a lively set of bars with no issue with 10 lads +. Perhaps a decent club nearby to!

I go quite regularly with work, was there 2 weeks ago, Rose street is always a good pub crawl and there is a couple of clubs nearby, can't remember the name but it was still going at 3 when we left, or down in the grass market, then that steep road up to the royal mile has a club on it.
My lads up there at Uni, he may know a few studenty places if that's what you are looking for?

Thanks for that. The thing with stag parties is you are always wary of groups getting knocked back when you're somewhere different! So somewhere lively but without to many pretentious places where everything is easy would be best!!

Rose street then probably a few bars down it and places to eat and a club, and just off it I saw signs for a titty bar or something like a place rooney would bang a granny

Thanks for that! We're off to Mussleborough races on the Saturday ... Don't think we'll get much rest from the booze tbh!!

They are good, running from Princess Street to South Gyle business park and the airport, although Edinburgh had a very good service bus service anyway.
