It appears we have a limited budget and after some successful loans last season I would like us to have a look at Van Ginkel. He plays cm and describes himself as a box to box midfielder. With N'Zonzi possibly on his way out I would look to sign him on a loan as it would be good for both parties
Depends if he is in Jose's plans though with Luiz leaving though

With Lampard looking like he may not be there next term, Van Ginkel may get more game time there, but if they are to loan him out he would be definitely worth looking at, especialy to replace one of(Palacios, Whelan, NZonzi) Palacios may leave/Whelan had a very good season last but its always nice to upgrade when possible/NZonzi needs to declare himself happy or do one.

He has only had 2 games for Chelsea, looks plausible and a good shout

Is this somebody else basing their thoughts on FIFA 14 or Football Manager?

Ah yes, the wonderful FIFA series, where players that were previously rated 80+ suddenly become 72 or so the next year because they signed for Stoke in real life!

Is this somebody else basing their thoughts on FIFA 14 or Football Manager? I do not base opinions on fifa or football manager as that is a dumb. I think we could obtain this guy on a loan and he is well thought of amongst many in the footballing world and Chelsea have paid £8m for him so he must be good I genuinely believe we should be looking at players like this or similar

On him being considered one of the brightest prospects in Holland?

Then they never make it.

David Bentley and Ireland both did very well for a time though didn't they? Of course some don't make it but I don't see why the OP should be ridiculed for the suggestion given that the player is very highly rated? I'd wager not many of us had seen much of Arnie or Muniesa but you could still be excited about the signings based on what you read about them.

And manager's of actual football clubs do use Footy Manager to look for players! The database is huge and it's a good starting point.

I haven't seen him play no but there are many people who have, Chelsea must have seen something in him to pay £8m for him. He had many suitors in the summer and I think a loan would be perfect for both parties as I said earlier

I watched Van Ginkel play in a few Eredivsie games during the 2012-2013 season. He looked legit, but so did Altidore. Don't think he was ready for a move to Chelsea, or maybe even the premier league at all. We could take him on loan, but unless we lose a CM or two it might end up being like the Guidetti situation where we are paying wages for a bigger club's player to sit on our bench.

My 15 year old son thinks these are our top transfer targets for next season.
Marc-André ter Stegen
Nathaniel Clyne, Fabien Schaer, Jamal Lascelles, Luke Shaw
Zakaria Bakkali, Marco van Ginkel, Angel Correa, Viktor Fischer
Yassine Benzia, Antony Martial
He thinks we should play in a 442 diamond formation.

For a 21 year old he's got over a hundred games under his belt in the Eredivisie and was scoring at a rate of one every four games for Vitesse (their manager was comparing him to Lampard last summer).
On the downside he looks like Justin Beiber.

That's exactly the point. People come on here saying buy this player and sell that one, then sell this one, play these tactics and then have a word with the chairman. About 90 percent of it these days is bollocks based on what they've done with games.

Look I'm not sending a message directly to Mark Hughes saying 'buy this player!' All I'm doing is alerting people to a potentially good player and one that I think would fit our future transfer policy. I could easily see MH looking at players like this if N'Zonzi leaves.
