Is that a yes for all those jobs we'd keep by staying in Europe..ie Insurance,Finance,Stock market etc....
Or a 'Yes' because I'd like the opportunity to vote against it...

The British people were promised a referendum on the EU Constitution. Although this 'product' is called the Lisbon Treaty its author has admitted that the content is 96.5% the same.
This poll is asking whether you want a referendum on whether Britain gives up the ability to make laws in certain areas.
It is NOT a poll to ask whether Britain should be in Europe. I wholeheartedly believe we should.
I'm old enough to remember the original referendum whether Britain should join the EEC. EEC stands for European ECONOMIC Union which was designed to remove or relax trade tariffes between European countries amongst other things.
The British people have never been asked whether they want to join a POLITICAL Union.
This poll is not about being in or out of Europe. It's not about jobs. It's about whether we want to relinquish self-determination of some of laws.
Therefore Mumf I think it's a bit disingenuous of you to try to change the question.

I've never been in favour of referenda. We pay politicians one hell of a lot of money to make these INFORMED judgments on our behalf and because we don't have anything like all the facts before us, maybe only what we get to learn from the Daily Mail or The Sun, we should leave all matters such as these to the people who are paid to make them. All we really have to go on is what the papers tell us and do YOU trust the integrity of the editors - I for one don't! The time to reverse any idiotic decisions taken by our elected representatives surely is at the next available election.
