Second half of the season has been under par for our rb, but he has served well under MH. Despite all the bashing going around, will you watch/support him this summer?

As he is a Stoke player I hope he has a good tournament but I think any Stoke fan would hope that.
I like Geoff he gets a lot on undeserved stick I reckon. He should definitely stay at Stoke but he clearly isn't a RB

Absolutely no way. Forget it. In fact I'll watch USA games only as far as the line-ups (with the sound muted so that I don't accidentally hear his name) and if I see he's in I'll turn over. If I'm caught out by an unexpected sub appearance, or switching channel and seeing him on the ball, I'll grab the nearest heavy object I can find and throw it through the TV screen. Then spit on the floor. No matter where I happen to be watching the game. I'm a pretty forgiving guy but I draw the line at watching and supporting a Stoke player in the World Cup after an under-par second half of the season.

I'm chuffed to bits that we have three four players at the World Cup. I can't remember us having as many before - is three our record? Naturally I'll take a bit more interest in their teams than I might have done if they had not been fielding Stoke players. I hope all three have decent tournaments providing it isn't at England's expense. Certainly I hope they do better than Sorro's shocker last time round.
I'll be a bit two faced watching Bego, though. On the one hand I want him to have as good a tournament as Banks did in 1970 - on the other hand, the better he plays the more likely he will have big clubs making bigger bids to take him off our hands. Still, if he is to move on it might as well be for as much cash as possible.

Unless I missed something...

As soon as a USA .. USA...USA game comes on every Stoke fan will turn over the telly and watch reruns of dads army.. Is this post serious ?

Ooops - how could I forget Palcios?

Definitely be watching all of our players in action. Great opportunity for all of them. Yes Bego may become an even more popular transfer target, on the other hand, having international players at the club could attract better players to join us here at Stoke.

I'm not bothering with the World Cup this time. It's a matter of principle these days. Legalised corruption on a grand scale and al under the name of football. Blatter , Plattini and many more hangers on.....then of course we have the over paid over rated players and managers to behold . People who earn more in a week than many do in a life time. I'm sorry , my heart is not in it anymore. Not interested.

You did say a million to one chance.... I don't see what difference the odds should make. You said you would not be bothering with the world cup. You didn't say you wouldn't be bothering with the early rounds but would change your mind if England reached the final. AND I'M SAYING I DON'T BELIEVE YOU!

Nothing strange about it at all. I've seen enough of Cameron to last me a lifetime and will be using the summer months to forget about just how bad he is! :-) ;-)
