Steino at the Vale - what a night, what a season, what an era for us and Stoke-on-Trent football. I wonder what those Vale folk are up to nowadays? And the crowd celebration , ...... both hands in the air and singing '10 points clear, we're only 10 points clear!'

Deon Burton's v Brentford at the Mill Stad play off final where he stormed back down the pitch after scoring with his right arm aloft towards the throngs of delirious Stokies

It was the 96/97 season, I think it was not long after he had joined us, and he scored against them in the first few minutes. I remember seeing it at the time and thought I must have been mistaken, but sure enough they showed the goal on central news on the Monday and it showed him pretending to launch it like a Javelin, and all the QPR fans cowering, it was brilliant! Imagine if Shawcross does that if he scores at Arsenal,he would be banned for life! Yeah remember that. Got it on VHS some where in the loft. Also remember Tony Ellis at Blackpool the golf putt celebration.

Big mamas against bristol city think he ran to the corner flag and did some little dance thing. Think the importance of the goal made me like it even more though.

Didn't he jump straight into the fans at Colchester and climb the railings at Bolton after his last minute goal whilst on loan as well? I remember jumping all over Kav at Wycombe when we won 1-0 to stay top of the league after he ended up in the away end. Wycombe goal comes at 1:20 in this vid.

Odemwingie jumping on the advertising boards has to be up there. How weird is it though that players do special celebrations - "I just scored a goal, excuse me while I do a backflip" i quite liked Wingie's as well and Charlie seems to have decided to copy him after his goal at the weekend. to be fair to acrobatic celebrations....i did always like KJ's liked Ethers at the semi final as well...he looked properly pumped up after he scored that, great bit of passion Who knew Danny Pugh could do the same as KJ? www.theguardian.com/football/2008/nov/12/carlingcup-stokecity

Mate & me went the away gooners game in 1st season in Prem as someone gave us some corporate tickets for their end. When Fuller scored the equaliser from the spot we jumped up in unison only to see about 10 other Stoke fans dotted around us do the same. How to ingratiate yourself with the locals!!!
