Spare a thought for the poor Baggies though.
Despite getting beat game after game, year after year, by Stoke they were able to console themselves with the thought that at least they played football the "right" way.
But now, even that crumb of comfort has been taken from them as the free flowing Samba football that is now the way of things at Stoke leaves them with nothing but desolation.
Personally I love West Brom - what's not to like?

Bitter to the end , love it, had to laugh at express & star report, sessegnons goal, a simple tap in which my nine year old grandson would of put away, is described as a "peach" of a goal, whilst Charlie's goal was a 20 yard shot that Foster failed to grab!

Do we consider them as rivals? I despise Wolves far more. Don't really have anything against the Baggies to be fair.

They passed a comment on us celebrating the game like it was winning a cup final. Irony at its finest considering how little they've been winning recently and they're only still in the league by virtue of 3 clubs being more suicidal this season than West Brom were.

They really haven't a clue have they?
Perhaps with them not winning many games they've forgotten what it's like to celebrate a victory?
Last game of the season (a successful season), late winner and an upbeat following.
What's not to celebrate about?

Cup final?!!? Only if we won it every year. To be rivals there has to be an element of competition. And they haven't been competitive against us since the mid80s.

A truer explanation of West Brom fans you won't find. Brilliant. Wolves are utterly vile though.

I don't know how we live with ourselves, celebrating winning games of football.

I'm guessing the pride of the midlands chants didn't go down too well? You can't beat a bitter football fan. The amount of bollocks they spout is amazing.

Didn't the West brom fans celebrate like they won the League, champions league and world cup when they beat us At the Brit a few years ago.

Didn't the West brom fans celebrate like they won the League, champions league and world cup when they beat us At the Brit a few years ago. Now that was a cup final for them. Pity they couldn't think of a good song to sing at the time though and by the time we played them again, normal service had been resumed. Biggest bunch of deluded fucktards you could ever meet.

Seems our win struck a particularly raw nerve with that "BaggieBlood" bloke I must say he seems like a complete cock, the others are not quite so bad.

I've never counted them as rivals, just a bunch of primo wankers that we beat nearly every time we play them.

Always found West Brom fans fine. That said considering we're not part of their 'Midlands four' they certainly liked to sing about it to us the other season..
(best part is the guy at 0:18 having a nervous breakdown when a 'We always beat West Brom' chant drowns them out)

They are so full of themselves. We would have acted the same regardless of who we beat to clinch 9h place. Had nothing to do with those relegation candidates.

Agreed!Sour grapes indeed - very, VERY sour - in fact, embarrassingly sour - and clearly coming from the usual sort of envious, pathetic, brainless oik of a weedy little nobody - a nasty, snivelling VERY LITTLE creep who is incapable of being decent or honest enough to pay any richly-deserved compliments to another team - and by 'eck, WE HAVE EARNED some GREAT compliments. It's nothing more than a touch of the Wengers, though……… They don't like it up 'em!

Sjoke win their cup final... Never considered them as a rival but they certainly view us as their cup final!
The way they celebrated their winner and then stayed behind celebrating for ages after their thugs had left the pitch.
God knows how they'd celebrate if they actually did win something!
Around for over 125 years and won fooook all!
The degenerates only turn up in large numbers because they've had free coaches all season!
Wasted all the coates money and only now got a top ten finish and still not beaten our high of 8th with much higher budget!

Did someone lose a football game then?
