Well done Tony, there were several months when he was here when he deserved to win it.
This also means Palace will lose their next two games, so its great news for us

I have only seen Wickham play once and that was at Sheff Weds earlier in the season. I thought he looked really useful then, way too good for that level.

Wickham has come really good at Sunderland and hit form right when they needed it. I dislike them due to Poyet but Wickham is a deserved winner.
As for TP its been a long time coming but he has worked well at Palace and deserves his accolade. Well done to him.

strange that this is the only time we've had a "Well done Manager of the month" thread eh?
Brendan Rodgers Arsene Wenger Mauricio Pochettino Alan Pardew Manuel Pellegrini Sam Allardyce
Well done to you guys too....no idea why but apparently you didn't deserve the same plaudits as this guy despite the fact that you all, like him, are just other managers of other clubs.
Stand up and take a bow!

Couldn't give a flying fuck about other teams managers and players. couldn't agree more! whilst i always have and always will love a certain someone for what he did for US he isn't with us anymore.it's that simple for me. fair enough if people feel the need on certain threads to stick up for him and don't like the abuse or lack of respect that he does get...i understand that, but why people seem to want to stalk his every sodding move and what happens to him for the rest of his career whilst managing OTHER teams and start threads about it is beyond me!

Well done Mr Pulis. Not bad for a wank manager that will never get a job with another Premier league club!

Bloody hell Mick. You say you couldnt care less and yet i must have read this post from you, in various guises, about 20 times lol. I understand when threads migrate into Pulis talk but lots are plain to see from the title and yet they're always full of people saying others shouldn't be talking about him. It's a bit obsessive to be honest ;D

Same sentiment as a few of the other posters.....couldn't give a flying shit who wins it apart from who is managing our team, playing for our team....
Tony Pulis has gone, you love him more than SCFC go follow the club he manages.

Tony Pulis has gone, you love him more than SCFC go follow the club he manages. You can still be stoke through and through and yet take an interest in what ex managers and players are up to. Im not sure how that is so difficult to understand. People who dont care who constantly say they dont care however .... that's a mystery. I doubt a thread about Rory coaching would get so many people bleating about a 1cm row on their oatcake homepage that can be easily ignored.

So Mr Pulis wins 4 loses 1 he,s the greatest thing since sliced bread, Hughes wins 4 draws 1 doesn't get a look in,i suppose i shouldn't be surprised ones a manager of a rough northern club the other a media darling of a London based can do no wrong club.

Excellent read, though Parrish comes out with the classic line about style of play. FFS Pulis spent years assembling that squad here, it was his, and his decision alone to play the way we played.

"I think the perception of me has now changed, without a question," Pulis insists. "It was said when I left that it was good for Stoke to have a fresh manager. Well, I think this was good for me as well. We've been congratulated on the football we've played, which has been lovely, but we've played to the strengths of the team." Parish concurs: "What Tony's proved to everybody is that he's not a one-dimensional manager. We don't hoik it up to the big man up front and play off second balls. He's developed a completely different style to what he had at Stoke based around the personnel he's got." . Pulis still can't help but have a dig, even though the football we played and the personel were all down to him. He's a right snide cunt!

I don't get it, do some people on here want him to renounce his award or something?
He's done really well down there regardless of what he did up here, now stop being bitter bastards and take it on the chin, we've had a fantastic season under Sparky, focus on the overwhelming positives rather than the completely irrelevant.

Hughes won 4 in March, Rodgers won 5 it's tough luck I'm afraid.

Crikey, folk on here don't half like to get their knickers in a twist over nothing!!!
The reason I posted it in the first place was to highlight the fact that it was unusual for this award to go to representatives of lesser profile teams, and those in the bottom half of the table. But it seems to have gone off at a tangent somewhat!

There are some ex managers and players you are allowed\expected to care for. For some it seems Pulis isn't one of them. You can't blame them when you consider what he helped bring to Stoke. Premier League, FA Cup Final, Europe, Fuller, Shawcross, Bego, Faye, Huth, a home record the envy of most top flight clubs..... Why would anybody care about a manager like that....
