The system has worked fine ever since tele and online sales were introduced. But now because everyone wanted to go this match the system is shit!! Like the OP says "Like my fucking arse" This, the club, and all clubs for that matter make buying tickets as easy as possible through various outlets. It's 2014 for gods sake.

I've asked Josh WV for clarity regarding the away day tickets. If they always go on-sale at midnight then well, lesson learnt, we all need to remember that. It's annoying. Not all of us can use the Internet at midnight. Some people do night shifts or don't have access to a PC or are in bed because they have work. It's a somewhat flawed system if that's the case but hey, we'll see.

I don't know why we haven't got more? Surely the maximum away allocation should be whatever we can sell?

A number of things
1. It's West Brom which ALWAYS sells out 2. £25 a ticket 3. Easy to travel to 4. Last game of the season

I don't know why we haven't got more? Surely the maximum away allocation should be whatever we can sell? 10% is the minimum for the home club to offer away fans West Brom must think they can sell out the other 24000, with being the last game of the season can see why. Edit, Also we wont get anymore tickets if they have sold any tickets in the blocks away fans can have.

OK, reading my statement back, it doesn't make sense. What I mean is, sometimes you see clubs with an allocation of like 3 or 4 thousand. We'd have easily sold that today. Surely West Brom could increase our allocation, it's still money for them remember.

Why not. After midnight is the correct day. I'm generally at work in the day so after midnight is better for me than trying to do it say after 9 am.

Chap on the phone said he didn't know anything about them applying for more tickets but has taken my name down on the waiting list. Can't hurt to try.

In relation to the title of this thread. If you're going to ask for opinions then you should at least post a picture of your arse.
Not that I'd be interested in it anyway.

Why would they put in another 2000 stokies when those spaces can be filled with west brazil fans?

I've heard 100 excuses why our away followings have been competely embarrassing all season but now as soon as a desirable game comes along, the ones who have been part of the away followings all season get pushed to the back. Bullshit system.

Always going to be disappointment when demand outstrips supply by at least 2 to 1 but it's anther typical Stoke City fuck up to give one channel a 9 hour window over the others. By the way, RIP Platinum Ponces, you were born lived and died a bunch of bastards. *Platinum Plus Ponces. Include us all please.

Been in a queue at the ground since 08:40. Must have been 150 in front of me and by the time I left ticketless there would have been the same number after me. Sorry if this offends and if you've got a ticket via Tint or phone you won't give a shit but people going in person must get priority. They should certainly not be selling tickets on the phone whilst people are queuing. Save the abuse I'm too fucked off to bother. I'm sorry but thats the biggest load of crap I've see on here in ages. So those of us who are sat at work 9-5 can forget getting tickets, because those who are free during normal working hours must get priority. Joke.

Why couldn't they inform the supporters via the OS or twitter that there were few tickets remaining. That way more people would have tried at midnight. Just lack of communication, again would have taken all of 15 seconds to send a tweet last night. Saying that, would it be fair to tweet? Not everyone has twitter. A banner behind a plane? Although could be deemed unfair to the visually impaired...

So in short, you would prefer us to take 500 to The Hawthorns?
I've been to the majority of away games this season and would be highly disappointed if the demand for this game was low. The more the merrier.
Rulers at the ready *unzips fly*

But those who have actually travelled to most away games should not be left without tickets because of those who have not been all season.

If you're selling something over multiple platforms then i think really each platforms users should have an equal as possible of an opportunity to buy. Clearly in this instance thats not been the case. Online buyers have been able to snap up a very large portion of the tickets before they go on sale to people buying by phone or at the ground.

Not a miracle - just common sense.
Newcastle/Sunderland/Swansea are 4 hour trips. WBA is 45 minutes away.
Wigan/Blackburn/Bolton have been 'big days out' in the PL in previous seasons, why? Because they are cheap and local!
This season WBA is the ONLY local & cheap league game - demand was going to be through the roof.
Tranmere & Birmingham were also great followings, again, local & cheap!

if you can come up with a fair system be my guest & then send it in to the club - just remember, that the other n supporters will have their own fair system & it will be totally different from yours. Squaring the circle?
if you want priority, you have to pay a bit more eg potters foundation, if you don't want to pay then you risk losing out in an 'attractive' match.
its not fair - but neither is life. But don't blame the club that's just a knee jerk reaction.

Hence the reason they're implementing the new system for next season I assume? I'm positive that the fans that have attended most away games are well aware that this one would sell out quickly.

It could be that everyone who is going to WBA has been to 4 or 5 away this season - It is just that everyone wants to go to this particular one. I believe a priority system, similar to the 1st year in the PL will be introduced next season anyway.
