From the little evidence on the pitch that i've seen I think he's garbage.
He even looks garbage when the players are kicking in and having pot shots at Daniel Bachmann. At the last home game he was the only player to have all (roughly) 15 shots at goal and not hit the target once!

And no doubt the reason we ain't seen enough of him would simply be because he ain't shown enough in training. Really? You don't think the form of others in the team at the moment has anything to do with it? Hughes himself has said Guidetti has done well in training. I don't think it is as simple as him not showing enough in training. If he was busting a gut in training then at the very least he'd be sitting on the bench followed by more time on the pitch.

I don't think it is as simple as him not showing enough in training. I think if he was pulling up any trees we'd have seen a lot more of him from the bench than we have - Hughes clearly doesn't massively trust him to do whatever job he wants doing. I'm certainly not saying he has been 'pulling up trees' in training, but I don't buy the 'He must be shit in training' line either. I don't see how you can fairly judge the lad on his cameos so far, they have hardly been decent runs for him have they?
I don't know the reasons behind him not getting game time, but I don't accept it is simply because he is not good enough.

Believe what you like but he's hardly going come out and say he's not putting it in in training. It's called keeping ones powder dry but no doubt come the end of his loan with us Hughes would have built up a picture of him and the one he's no doubt seeing now sine cutting the so called mustard.

Why would you play Guidetti if we can manage this season without him. If we had played him and he scored regularly it would cost us best part of 7 million to get him in the summer. At this rate we will just need to pay a token amount then his wages.

It will be interesting to see what happens with him.

Does to me - Hughesy might be playing a patient 'long' game on this one - if he is shit he goes back - we dont see him again I sense we will sign him in the summer for a 'realistic price' and then ----- BOOOM ! Why couldn't he have got him for a 'realistic price' as it was, rotting on the bench at Man City. Are you seriously suggesting that in January, at a time when the club was screaming for reinforcements, particularly up front, and flirting very much with the relegation zone, that the manager decided to use up one of two loan spots we have available to us on a player he didn't intend to use, at the expense of one who could have made an impact on the pitch?

Hughes was probably told he was ready to play he signed. But then realised when he saw him in training that he's way off first team action.

Has been shit and seems to carry a shit attitude around with him. Waste of a loan spot which most likely saw us pay over the odds for Ireland.
In the unlikely event that Hughes is playing some sort of long game, I hope that game is to never let him play for Stoke again. At the likely price would be a disastrous move.

Could be argued that Assaidi, Ireland and Giudetti represent perfect use of the loan system despite the minor waste on the latter.

Guidetti has been a complete waste of time and a loan space. Hughes obviously has realised this now and will be sending him back to Man City as soon as he can, anyone who believes we will be signing him,and we're not playing him as some sort of ploy to keep his cost down is fucking mental.

Yes, but that's not what he said is it? Momo said "He's been shit" - Do you agree with that? If so, on what basis do you think he has been shit? Has he had enough game time to prove himself either way, in your opinion?
Momo also said "He seems to have a shit attitude" - Do you agree with that? If so, why? - I understand that him speaking to the press at the beginning of his loan period was a bit silly, but it is also clear that he really wanted to play and was just frustrated with his lack of action. I certainly don't think he has a shit attitude based on that little outburst, in fact I would suggest it shows passion.
I agree that whatever has happed, his loan has not worked out, and I don't think for a moment that he will be signed here. But I take exception to the lad being called "Shit" when he hasn't had a chance.

I suppose it is being a tad harsh but he has looked everything but a premier league footballer in the small cameo's he has had so far for us. He looks totally unfit and overweight which would suggest there could be an attitude problem as you would think he would be desperate to get himself into the right condition if he was busting a gut to play. At the end of the day we can only judge him on what we have seen on the pitch, and even though we haven't seen much,in my opinion, what I have seen is that we have an overweight, unfit player who isn't good enough for this league. It seems that Mark Hughes has also realised this and i'd be surprised if he gets any more game time at all now.

Assaidi came back from 6 weeks out with very little training and no match fitness on Saturday and showed more desire, conditioning and gumption than Guidetti has in any of his cameos. This should just be filed under 'never again' considering that the price will still be inflated regardless of his rancid time here.

I wonder if you will serve another ban for this! I dunno were you banned for suggesting two members of this board would be wanking each other off the other week? You certainly seem to have some issues you need to work through. Not least why you maraud around the board slagging off the hugely succesful ex manager but walk a million miles for a fat Swede who looks like he can't be arsed.

As it stands his loan has made no sense whatsoever. It is clear that he has fitness issues as photographic evidence has proved. There must have been some reason as to why we took him. Have they paid us to get him fit with some game time I wonder?? If he is as good as it has been stated maybe plus the lure of the cash was too much for us to ignore as if he had kicked in then it would have been win win but as it stands it looks like a waste of a loan at a crucial time. I'm surprise the media haven't really taken Hughes to task over it tbh.
