I don't think Assaidi is on big wages at Liverpool at all.I would be confident that he is not on what our top earners are getting. Not sure how accurate this is, but I doubt he's been given a pay rise since signing for Liverpool. Assaidi will triple the £7,000 per week wages he was being paid by Heerenveen and will sign a four-year contract on Merseyside, plugging the gaps in the squad that have been left by the departures of Dirk Kuyt and Maxi Rodriguez.Read more: www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2189418/Oussama-Assaidi-join-Liverpool-3m-Heerenveen.html#ixzz2ziwXdBwO Good find Mama

The poor lad is earning pittance at the moment...it's a wonder he survives. I'd definitely be sniffing around him at £4m or less. Him and Arnie down the left, Podemwingie and A.N.Other down the right and we'll be looking decent. Still get teary when I think about that chance he flopped on Saturday....2 thousand of us all ready to go bat.chit.fucking.mental.

Good find Mama Good find indeed. I'm surprised that a Liverpool first team squad player isn't on more money than that, but maybe he's on the fringes.
If the money's right, maybe this deal could be done. He can certainly make a contribution at Stoke City.

he's basically a Moroccan Ethers when Matty was at his peak for us. don't see why anyone would quibble with us signing him up, we haven't had anyone else since Ethers in 2011 who was willing to run at players and commit defenders and isn't that what most on here have been begging for for the last 3 years? He'd be an excellent signing mick I don't know what type of money people on here are expecting is to spend but they could be on for a shock He's in our price range and worth every penny Shock in what way?

He fits the bill if he's no more than 3 million. If he is more then he's not worth it.

Why would we want to sign a player with no pace, no skill and no crossing ability?
His loan can't come to an end quickly enough for me.

His crossing is the massive weak link in his game.

His crossing is the massive weak link in his game. 'Massive', eh? Yes massive, he has no assists in the league! Mainly because he never piggin' tries to cross to it. He needs more than cut in and shoot.

Would be a decent squad signing. What we really need though is a left-sided wide player who can offer something different ala Ethers before the injuries.

The reason he has no assists is down to playing on the left. I'm sure on the right he could hang crosses up for crouch to nod down to Odemwingie / Ireland/ Adam
