He looked like he was throwing up on the pitch. Wonder if he has a bug. It didnt look like any obvious leg or ankle ailment to me which looked far more worrying... hope he gets back into fitness. But with Muni more than capable I'd be fine if pieters sat the last few games.

So is he out for next week? I've no idea. If it was just a stomach bug then you would think he would be ok.

I second stokemanusa with regards Muniesa, I thought he did very well on Saturday and it's nice to know that we have a good backup player in that position who looks like he'll most probably get better and better over time. I have a good feeling about Marc Muniesa.

I think there is probably a bug going round the team, Ireland was ill a week or so back, Pieters yesterday and I know a few people up here in the Lakes who are recovering from Flu like symptoms.

I thought Muniesa was excellent yesterday as he was the last time Peters was injured
We are well blessed at left back

As I've said before I was impressed by Munieca's performance, but would prefer Pieters against Lennon as he looks to have more pace.

I like Muniesa because he's always calm in possession. It would be nice to see him given a chance in a holding midfield role in preseason or a cup game.

Muniesa oozes class. He'll get better as he adjusts properly to this league.

I also think Pieters has improved immensely since the Tottenham away game (watched it on TV) as our defence have in general. Think we as a whole team will defend much better now as we then met Spurs at a time when our defense was at the most fragile this season.
