he certainly seem to be enjoying things and relishes the crowd singing his name. I think he was trying just a little too hard Saturday against Cardiff and it affected his game. Never mind, he's done great so far and I hope he will continue next year too.

I agree. A bit like Lee Hendrie, way back when, wingy was the final piece that pushed us on. Being harsh, I guess you could say any half decent right sided player would have pushed us on. But I think he has been much better - especially his work rate - than almost anyone expected. It does appear wingy could go on for another year at this level; but a bit like fashion models and looks, pace isn't something you keep forever and when it goes it goes ... quickly. Supporters' Hero? Question is, does it show how starved we've been since Ricci, more than it demonstrates how well wingy has done? And honestly that's not to take anything away from wingy. Anyway, crackin' bit of business by Hughesy ( and team ) Good article WD (for shame, people had better things to do on an Easter Sunday! )

Good article. I think he has another couple of years in him, possibly, hopefully three. If he stays in his current mindset and the fans stay with him (which I don't doubt they will) there's no reason why not imo, when you're happy in your mind your body complains less
