He was paid very well to score vital goals.
Wasn't a flop for us, but didn't pull up any trees either.

It was his attitude that we didn't like. Was a mard arse and never had time for fans. I approached him on a few occasions for a photo and was turned down every time; "Haven't got time" was his usual excuse, but sometimes he'd just ignore you.

No case to answer. His lacklustre displays when picked means he was not in the team, and deserved to be on the bench. The biggest waste of space ever to wear a Stoke shirt and won't be missed by anybody!

yes he did score some very important goals for us and will be remembered for that by some but largely he will be remembered for his awful attitude and trying to bend SCFC over a barrel by going on strike.
i support all Stoke players that do their best for and try their hardest for the club but one who goes on strike to try to make a point (which he also did at Southampton remember)? professional footballers all know they have no guarantees whatsoever of making the first team every week, the vast majority of them accept that and handle it with dignity and wait for their chance to earn their starting spot back...to force the issue by striking is arrogant and egotistical.
simple for me, he has no respect or goodwill towards the club and has shown that by refusing to play for us so i, in turn, have no respect or goodwill towards him.i'm a fan of this club and will support them no matter what so if a player insults and disrespects us then he can fuck off regardless of what he's done in the past....he's just another Cardiff player and as far as i'm concerned i hope he has an absolute shitter at the weekend. applause???? no fuckin way!
if you want to leave a club with dignity and integrity and earn that "Welcome back" applause and ovation then take a look at Tony and how he handled it.you have to earn respect from fans of a club, it isn't just automatically dished out simply because they used to play for you and neither should it be.

Doesn't deserve a standing ovation and doesn't deserve booing
Just polite applause should suffice ( optional )

The biggest waste of space ever to wear a Stoke shirt and won't be missed by anybody! You must have missed out on Keith Scott, Peter Kopteff, Steven Tweed,etc.. ( feel free to supply your own players who did not play regularly in our most successful season in the last 40 years.) Have you seen Brek Shea?

The fact that the useless prick thinks he has a case tells us all we need to know about him. Glad he has gone, who the fuck does he think he is?

I think with the case of Kenwyne he has been branded as "guilty" without any real investigation or right to reply.
He was clearly told that he cant speak about the subject, but he was adamant that the turn of events were nothing like what was described in the press about him "going on strike"
I honestly think we are being sold propaganda by the club at times, and we are more than happy to lap it up if it fits with who our favourites and boo-boys are.
- Also look at the similarities with Odemwingie. He foolishly drove down to QPR before the clubs had even agreed fees, and looked a right tit to West Brom fans. Of course now he's scoring for Stoke, we just say it was a misunderstanding and no big deal.
Im not even Kenwyne's biggest fan, but I think we should know more of the actual truth of events before branding him as such. Its not unlike Stoke to twist events to suit their own purposes (which was clearly to get Kenwyne off the wage bill as soon as possible)

Refusing to play when under a contract earning good money makes him look like a real tool in my opinion!

This whole affair sums Kenwyne up to a tee. He ends a sorry two year period in his career and is given probably his last shot to make a successful stab of things as a Premier League. Does he move on, focus on the future and put all his efforts into making his period at Cardiff a success? Does he fuck. He chases up an old grudge at his old club, still playing the hard done to card proving that money is his primary motive and abdicating any responsibility for the sorry cul-de-sac his career has gone down.
Stoke should fight this sorry excuse for a man and any subsequent Premier League proposal to overrule the clubs decision tooth and nail. Anything else offers carte blanche to any other overpaid mardarse twat in the future and worse, completely undermines Mark Hughes.

Glad he has gone, who the fuck does he think he is? to be fair to him he apparently didn't strike at all....he simply refused to do the job he was paid to do until the club gave into his demands. apparently that's not the same as going on strike in Kenwynne's bizarre world...too much ganja probably instead of applause for KJ, i propose a full on 90 minute chant of Wingie's name just to piss off the Predator lookalike!

Jones has already admitted fault by texting Hughes the day before the game to say he couldn't play due to being unhappy about not playing or being sold,so I don't really see how there is a case to answer. He has broken his contract I should imagine so I can see how the mard arse can be defended. I'm afraid you are talking a bit of shit here Matt

I hope he doesn't read this for inspiration on Saturday
I remember everyone on TP's back, screaming out for him to give Kenwyn more starts because he was more effective than crouch
He'll get a round of applause from me

Potentially a marauding centre forward, but very rarely shows it. I met him once when working at Manchester airport, and found him quite approachable. I'm afraid he's just another nearly man. He must frustrate the life out of managers!

instead of applause for KJ, i propose a full on 90 minute chant of Wingie's name just to piss off the Predator lookalike! Agreed, though you have to wonder how big a favour he did us by refusing to play. Wonder if we'd have just let his contract wind-down if that hadn't happened, rather than seemingly transforming our season by swapping him for Wingie.

Thank him for the semi final goal laid on a plate for him by Pennant. He had a good run when Crouch broke his jaw but the cynics amongst us would say he was in the shop window for the January transfer slot. Especially his performance whe Liverpool were beaten 3-1 on Boxing Day.

Funny thing is - I reckon KJ could have thrived playing up front on Saturday with Arnie laying on those superb crosses! Hard to remember another game with so much quality delivery. Crouch should be kicking himself for not scoring at least one goal.
Jones did some great stuff at Stoke - but nowhere near enough.
Was not sorry to see him go.

He did well for us overall.
It would be wrong to boo someone that did a lot to help us stay in the league and play in a FA Cup Final for us.
We even clap Deon Burton when he comes back for fucksake.

Deon left us on a high after scoring vital goals in the play offs. Kenwyne's acrimonious departure and most recent lumbering performances for us mean he'll never get the best of receptions.
