Huge game, hope we give them a right seeing to.
However a bad run for a team has always got to end and it would not surprise me if Newcastle's ended on the weekend.
4 0 I think is hugely optimistic (although thanks to Tazi, 20p will be going on Stoke to win by 4 or more goals).
Ill go for 2-1 with Arnie and Crouch the scorers.

They are right out of form but may be a bit more relaxed away from home, still think Hiughes will get the lads lifted after the Chelsea performance and I can see us winning to put pressure on them for 9th place although I think we wont quite catch them.

This game represents the bench mark of Stoke's progress this season. It would be nice to win with some attractive football, but the result is more important. Stoke need to demonstrate they can put away another of their peer group as they have done against West Ham and Hull and truly deserve the 10th position.
Everyone including Newcastle are aware of their current run of form but people should remember they went to Hull and turned them over comfortably which Stoke didn't do at the Brit. There should be lessons for MH from the Newcastle performance at Hull where they got a great number of shots off and were rewarded with the goals.
It's time for some Stoke players to demonstrate that they want to be part of the Stoke set up next season. Otherwise they could be playing for a team in the Championship or Crystal Palace, (although N'Zonzi probably thinks he should be playing for PSG).

Once again, as with Hull, 1-0 will do me.

Coming over from Norway to watch this game so I really hope for a good result! Have only seen Stoke lose once in the ten home matches I've been to, and that was a 1-2 defeat to Derby in 2003 so I'm very optimistic!

We're owed 1 ridiculous sending off (two yellows also so it can't be rescinded) and 3 goals that shouldn't stand. After that I think we're good enough to bag a couple more.

Remy is out. They generally don't score without him do they?
@caulkinthetimes: #Nufc were optimistic y'day Remy would return for Stoke - Pardew now says he won't. Swansea the target. Confirms Krul has chance for Sat.

Newcastle fan here. No Remy for us and Gosling likely to be in midfield. 2-0 to Stoke.

This is a tough one to predict. Neither team has anything to play for other than pride. What happened up there might help to spur us on a little but much as I'd like us to stick it to them I think it'll be a tight game. Stoke 1.0

Suddenly - and not so often - Newcastle seem to score goals but I hope it is not this weekend. Going with my previous three home predictions, I think the visitors could win this 1 - 3. Mind you, I was hopelessly wrong with the previous three..... so here's hoping.

Honestly I don't know if they'll be smarting or if they've just given up on the season... I BADLY want to finish above the Toon though, an ugly 1-0 will be just fine please and put Stamford Bridge behind us.
