@dsm I don't really follow the NRL but aren't the Sea eagles like the ManU as in '"any one but the Eagles?" Loved last night. Woke my family with my cheers from the Settee and polished off the last of a bottle of Jonnie Walker Black Label. I wonder what it was like at the Bondi Junction Tea Gardens? Great night eh TB? Sore head this morning... Not too bad, Cliify. I can tolerate the lack of sleep after a result like that.

Hey Chuggs, do you reckon you could convert from Footy to Rugby, are your fitness levels good enough. Many sports stars have done the same, Jimmy White is an awesome pool player. Nigel Mansel went to Indy. But the best of all was the Horse riden by Captain Mark Philips, he changed to Badminton...I know that as a fact, as I remember the headline...Captain Mark Philips beats his Horse at Badminton....Fair plays to the Captain for teaching him to play, must be a bastard for a horse on that slippy floor, bit like Bambi on Ice.

I am trying to tempt Joe in Oz back to a thread that was seemingly set up to communicate with him, but on which he hasnt appeared for about 35 pages. probably because he got called nasty names like 'twat' and 'basterd' and 'nob' and 'valve'. But he likes unsoiled sheets and if youre in no danger of dosing on his settee, we might be able to tempt him back

He's back over with you guys at the moment eating oatcakes rather than reading them! I'm sure he'll be at the Brit in a couple of weeks. So his settee is going begging!

He misled Chugga, promised him he could "dos on his sette" and then once Joe in Oz found out Chugga had spent his life savings to follow his dream to be a professional football player and come to Ozzie Land Joe in Oz disappears. I thought Stokies took care of each other? Come to Orlando Chugga and we will get you sorted. Tampa Bay Rowdies or Orlando City. You decide lad.

You can go ahead and say it, Chugga lad. Ozzie Joe is a c@nt of the highest order. How he comes out of this looking like a victim is beyond me.

I Googled that when it first appeared. A real word: the name for the 'middle brain', thought to be responsible for a sense of 'self', mostly abbreviated to mesen. I like that mesen, or has that been cleared up already.

I have to go back and read this thread again from the start to contextualize the auteurs subliminal meanings. Chugga is the Tarantino of the Oatcake! Cant wait to find out what 'orate' and 'yotha' really mean Perge Chugga!

Where does the "Marra bone an all that" come from? Obviously Marra is from Marrers name. As for the Bone, well do not pronounce it bone, try to emphasise the e bit... Bone= Latin for I'm Not Gay. An All, in early greek times was in fact an abbreviation of a much bigger word, An All= I'm Gonna Twat You.... and That, again, do not pronounce it the English way, emphasise the H... That = After Training. So Marra...I'm not gay...I'm gonna twat you...After training... Hope that clears that up for you. Bit like our very own Visa Unita Fortifa..... Which means We are the Potters, The mighty potters, and we like eating Oatcakes. And we have the Naughty Forty.

Cant wait to find out what 'orate' and 'yotha' really mean Perge Chugga! To orate is an intransigent verb, the present participle of 'oration', as in speech {esp. pompously or at length}. The act of speaking to another person. ie. a pompous but jocular greeting. Yotha is the plural form of the aboriginal word 'yothu', as in the Australian band Yothu Yindi {who recorded the song 'Treaty' youtube it if you don't believe me.}, which is Yolngu for 'mother and child'. So it basically means 'mothers'. So taking them both together: 'orate yotha' means 'hello mothers.' Hope that helps.
