They really are a club on the decline and run by a bloke who clearly has no interest in them but many refuse to see it
Still if it makes em happy

Weird.

I'm quite surprised at this, they have actually done much better than expected this season after their promotion.
In fact the final play-off spot has not yet gone since there is a 17 point gap in Div 1 between 5th and 6th which means some unlikely club will nick it.

Nah, Peterborough, in the final play-off place are 4 points better off, a better goal difference (19 goals!) and also have 2 games in hand. BTW - all this talk of a good/great season in League 1 can be put in perspective by knowing they've lost EIGHTEEN games already, exactly the same number as bottom club Shrewsbury. Yes, 138 Season Tickets is about right in my book.

They also look like losing their two biggest away followings next season in Wolves and Crewe. :-)

For league one football is astonishing when you can get premier league football at stoke for not alot more money, they need put the prices down Bear in mind that Stoke can afford to keep their season tickets cheaper because of the massive TV revenue we get. Clubs in league 1 and league 2 rely on season tickets sales to give them money up front before the season starts. They aren't earning 40m in TV revenue.

Yes, 138 Season Tickets is about right in my book. Perhaps, but I thought and indeed hoped they would crash and burn after the promotion but they haven't. Despite losing all those games they are only 4 points off the play offs. I suppose I am just surprised by how disgruntled most Vale fans seem to be. I thought they should be thrilled with it all but plainly they are not. They seem to have a very warped sense of their place in the football pecking order.
