Was at work the other day and Thunderstruck by AC/DC was playing on the Radio and it reminded me of the Arsenal win in the 2010/2011 season. It was playing before kick off and stuck with me.
Apart from the obvious 'Delilah' what other songs bring back any Stoke memories?

Girl I'm Gonna Make You Sweat, by whoever that was. Always seemed to be on the tannoy when I stood in the paddock. That, and Mary's Boy Child which they used to play at any time of year.

Tell me lies - fleetwood mac
Always reminds me of celebrating winning v brentford on the play offs, singing handysides Peter handysides in place of tell me lies, in st1's as I recall, what a night.

"Songs" that i've not actually heard since, but if i ever did then they would remind me of Stoke are the 'Hyde Park Tiles' advert and that 'Oooh Ahh Daily Star' jingle thing. Used to be on at The Vic' when i was younger. Oh we're the workers here at Hyde Park Tiles, And we've got tiles in loads of styles, Tiles for your walls and tiles for your floors, Kitchens bathrooms and lots more, Our boss is Phil and he's very nice, He sells tiles at a very low price, Oh we're the workers here at Hyde Park Tiles, and we've got tiles in loads of styles.

I'm sure this was played at every home game over that tinny tannoy system on the Boothen a End from 75 onwards for 3 or 4 seasons.

But, we made our own entertainment in those days!

Was it jump around that used to play when we scored a goal in the lower leagues?
And as Roy cropper said rocking all over the world as that always played just before we came out of the tunnel and the boys are back in town as it was our entrance music.
I still remember it word for word it was the "Trumpets Playing" then the count down in a kind of alien voice from 10-1 and then it said " this is only the Beginning" and the boys are back in town would kick in!

1) The Pretender - when they played that in our second season up I cried with pride! 2) Thunderstruck 3) Lose yourself 4) I'm Horny ( Thorny, Thorny, Thorny!) 5) The boys are back in town (never liked it though). 6) Happiness ( thought it was a bit small time)
