Did anyone else hear on radio 5 yesterday the presenter gave us some breaking news about a plane going into the sea off gran canaria.can you imagine the anguish and dread of anyone listening to that who may have had friends or relatives going to the canaries It was about 3ish I was driving to keele I checked the news for the rest of the day but heard nothing, it must have been bullshit.very poor from the beeb to broadcast news without checking its authenticity.

Yes it came up as a breaking news flash on my screen , then about 30 minutes later a second flash saying it was a false alarm and that a boat in the water had been mistaken for a downed aircraft by emergency services .....pretty poor stuff indeed to jump the gun like that

BBC radio 2 the other day were doing a report on the acid attack on Naomi Oni. After the article the presenter then proceeded to describe other people's constricting friendships & how dangerous they could potentially become.
