The physical strength to win the challenge was good enough but to have the composure to pick out a team mate with accuracy and weight was simply superb.

I didn't think Odemwingie, or any player for that matter, had a good chance of burying that but fuck me.. what a strike!

A fantastic break away goal all started by an amazing header from Shawcross sandwiched between 2 West Ham players !

I didn't think Odemwingie, or any player for that matter, had a good chance of burying that but fuck me.. what a strike! Taking nothing away from Odem, but what the Hell was their keeper doing? He made 2 good saves from Ireland, but was at fault for all 3 of our goals.

Totally different player to the idea given by the media. Whether that's down to them or down to him fitting here better, I don't care. Cracking swap.

Ode couldn't wipe the smile off his face after the 2nd! Thumbs up to the crowd every few seconds giving the fans a clap too when we were singing, agree with above totally different bloke from how the media has painted him, really like the guy.

Felt like it was playing out in slow motion and I never thought it would go in...didn't half belt my knee in the ensuing mental. A proud injury, I hope I get many more!

It was a wonderful goal and one that we very rarely score. It's one of them goals that other teams score. If we can add more pace and guile in the summer then we can expect more of the same.
I'd love to see more of it away as well.

So Odemwingie has been credited with 2 goals today! and none for Crouch I suppose that's the rub. Crouch's first time touch today was generally good and his lay offs were great but PO will be remembered more for his goal(s) today. That's how it works sometimes. 3 pts is where it is at!

Listening to radio Stoke on the way home, I was still tingling when I heard the goal go in again at the end of the programme. Great strike!
