Right? So he shouldn't try to make a living because they should be at the match. Get a grip mate.

I personally cant understand why anyone so close would sit in a pub and watch the match when they could be at the ground soaking up the atmosphere. But each to their own I suppose.

Poor show He's hardly blackmailing anyone into going! Leave the guy alone. If people are fans and want to go to the ground then I would imagine they have the nouce to work that out for themselves. Maybe a group can't all get seats together or can't make kick off, any reason you can think of! This bloke is simply facilitating a means of enjoying the game with some atmosphere. I'll be at the game though but thanks for the offer

Maybe just a thought , the match live in a pub means fewer people are inclined to go to the ground , hence more empty seats.
A landlord saying go on Stoke , as long you buy my beer , u don't watch for free.
A few less beers means more seats with rears !

The landlord is a home and away Stoke fan He/they are just offering a service to those who can't afford to go but would like a couple of pints watching Stoke Fair play to em

There's a reason London pubs don't show home games & it's not through loyalty to the clubs coffers. You want to make sure angry hamsters don't turn up on your doorstep at 15:05...

whilst i agree that games shouldnt be on live in pubs within a ten mile radius i do salute the guy running greenhoffs in turning an empty pub into a viable buisness concern. i can remember watching a game in the kings head on a fri night once i just couldnt be arsed to go to the groundit worked we won lol

Poor show How about the fact that tickets can not be brought on scfc direct any longer. I am assuming that means a sell out for stoke. Keep it up Greenhoffs!

What a load of bitches there are on this forum! I personally will be at the ground tomorrow to watch the game, but lets face it EVERYONE has a reason to either attend the game or not. Having supped a few in this particular establishment before, I would certainly go, if I was not going the game. Football is a dear do these days, and if a few Stokies that would not be at the game anyway can all congregate in the same place and have a good time then.... go on them. No one is forcing the "Best Supporter" police to attend, you could always go the pub instead.

And what about those fans who can't afford £40 to watch their team and don't want to be scammed by the club into paying to listen to the game on BBC Radio Stoke for which they have probably already paid the licence fee for....or those fans who are sick to death of being ripped of at the turn stiles with their hard earned cash being mostly used to fill the pockets of big ego, little skill and no loyalty ( talking footballers in general) players. All power to Greenhoffs and others that try to provide football matches at little or no cost to the fans. It's a breath of fresh air in a sport full to the brim with corruption, money grabbing, rip offs, scams, and mediocre cheating players masquerading as "heroes". I am having a rant at football in general for the most part here and not only at Stoke.

Is correct but the sad thing is , our club is now slowly but surely joining in the ripping off now! that multi ticket thing a few years back us what finished me off
