I agree, but they ARE a bigger club than us,or would be if back in the Premiership!

I don't think Butland will be going anywhere.
If we keep hold of Bego, I can see Tommy wanting to move on though....

i don't know if they are deluded to be honest.
i presume their main reasoning is that Butland specifically turned down other clubs to come here so he could play games. unless Bego moves on then he's still likely to be a sub at best and not playing games...he could have gone to Man city and done that, it has to be frustrating for him when he can't even get gametime unless both Begs AND Sorro are injured.
we'll have to wait and see whether Hughes makes him no.1 after the world cup when it's inevitable that Bego will leave. if he doesn't make Butland no.1 then i can't see him spending another year on the bench or just out on loan again

Very deluded in fact.

If Bego does go surely Butland is above Sorro? I'd go so far as to say if Bego goes we need another keeper and let Sorro go.

If Butland decided he wanted to leave Leeds surely wouldn't be able to afford him.

It's likely that Bego will move to a top club at the end of this season, but whether Butland is ready to replace him yet is not certain.
He might need another season out on loan and his contract with us extended.
Leeds United is a potentially massive club as they have no competition in one of the country's biggest cities. Can't stand em though.

I expect he'll be first choice next season, I love Bego but he deserves a move to a champions league side and I'd like to see him fulfil his potential, I fully expect him to move on this summer.

Even if Bego stays, surely Jack will have Cup runs with us next season. Safe in the knowledge that he's part of the best goalkeeping set-up in the World. Jack's got 10+ years at the top in front of him. {fingers crossed}. No need to rush a move. SCFC.

Bego is nowhere near good enough with the ball at his feet for a team like Barça. It's arguably the one weakness in his game but it's a big one if you play that style of football. He's in an interesting position really - good enough (and young enough) to command a very high fee for a keeper, but probably not 'modern' enough in style attract the very top European clubs. It makes the potential market quite small I think. It would have to be a CL club who would still be happy with a relatively old-school, nuts-and-bolts goalkeeper, but still have bucketloads of cash to spend on that position (probably in the top 10 fees ever paid). I have a sneaking feeling/hope that he could still be with us next season.
