Always been the same, and I think as well as us being who we are it is him who has drilled it into our club that diving is NOT acceptable, and thankfully Hughesy is carrying that on

The honesty that he insisted upon from his players was the best thing about TP and is perhaps the only worthwhile legacy he has left behind.
He instilled it in the players and those left behind instill it in newcomers.
After his embarrassing reaction at Fulham, Pieters, I am led to believe, was put right by Shawcross and Whelan, and look at him now.
Fair play to TP. I can't fault that aspect of his management.

I always thought that his policy of imposing fines for midfielders who crossed the halfway line did have significant and profound flaws ....
I know March4 and Tazi will disagree , but what do they know.....
...and I am unanimous.

They sentiment is fair enough but the amount of times you'd see walters do his back into defender and fall over and pennant drop as soon as near the corner of the box kind of makes me feel pulis isn't bieng honest.
I don't really see how the above is different to a dive

There will always be an element of gamesmanship in any game from any team. Blatant simulation is something else entirely. Have we ever had a player booked for that since promotion?

I agree but to fine for diving and from what I saw under tp encourage "gamesmanship" which is diving really. Makes his view point confused. Your either honest or not

I remember Fuller once took a dive and was torn a new arsehole on P&G.
Can't stand it. Never will. I don't particularly like how Charlie sometimes hits the deck.

We all hate diving, most un-Stokeman-like (new word so how refreshing is it to see a club doing their utmost to stamp it out. www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/26411295PS This isn't another TP thread, just a to a club trying to get rid of this increasing disease.

Stamp it out may not be the most appropriate term after Saturday.
Great management by TP,
