It's such a shame it has come many years too late, and too little also.
We've been far too quiet in defending our captain, in my opinion, and had we been more firm sooner then I dare say he wouldn't have had to go through what he has already.

It's just a reiteration of all that was said at the time, but the gooners&the media have continued to spin their propaganda...

To be fair Coates has spoken out before and defended both the club and Ryan over the Ramsey incident and so has Pulis. They spoke out at the time and they have spoken out since. The problem is that the media are lazy - they are happy to dredge crap up every time we play Arsenal and they are running true to form when they fail to check their facts and give a very old story another run out to brighten up a quiet news day. Coates is right to speak out now and I am glad he has done so - but I'll be very surprised if we don't have similar crap appearing each time we play Arsenal, for as long as Ramsey and Ryan remain at their respective clubs.

The chairman admitted: "Yes, we have got this thing with Arsenal. "We were very disappointed with how the Shawcross incident was treated because we thought there was never any intent whatsoever on Ryan's part. "We thought he was very badly treated over that incident in various quarters and it was wholly unfair on him. "Players get bad injuries all the time in professional football, and in the vast majority of cases there is no blame to be attached, but Ryan seemed to be unfairly singled out over this one, in my opinion." He forgot to add that he let our/his club get dragged through the mud along with that of our great captain by opting bit to make a legal stance. Shame he never found some fcuking balls.

That is how we all feel, he doesn't say "Everyone abuse Aaron Ramsay". It's up to individuals to react in the way they feel most appropriate. I was fuming at the time, i'm over it now. Obviously some still feel strongly about it. Storm in a teacup. 100 RED FUCKING CARDS! Now that is WANK!

Everytime I try to move on from my hatred for Arsenal, the arrogant tossers stoop to a whole new level with their abuse of Stoke City and Ryan Shawcross. Given that Ramsey has appeared to act like a total dickhead during the situation too despite having the best start to his career this season just makes me loathe everything and anything to do with that horrible twat and his club in North London. A small selection of their fans are decent, however sadly, a larger number would appear to be utter tools and as for the manager, well, don't get me started on that prick. I wish this could be swept aside, however, it would appear a selection of the "cockney geezers" from Islington are unwilling to do so purely because their team are wank and cannot win a trophy to save their lives. Whatever the result on saturday, you just know the loathsome neanderthals will abuse our club to their upmost and that is why I cannot shift my total hatred for them twats.

Always the best answers come on the pitch.
Put 5 past them and Venger will be sacked, thats the response I want to see.
I will never lower myself to gutter standards of other teams fan base as becoming a zombie never put the world back right did it?
Peter Coates should be talking to Arsenals owners about this situation , not the press that will only prolong the situation.

Honestly, you would think Spinksy could get it right. It's not much to ask, from a local paper, is it? Sir Peter has been kind enough to grant him a moment or two of his time and Spinksy can only be bothered to report a fraction of what was said.
As ever, this under reporting gets Sir Peter in to trouble; people are unsure exactly what he means.
Here is the speech in full (luckily, I was hiding in the boardroom biscuit cupboard and managed to get most of it down):
"Yes, we have a thing with Arsenal; We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in Fenton, we shall fight on the canals and West Port Lake, we shall fight with war heads, with bazookas and with Penk Ponthers filled with air, we shall defend our reputation, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the buses, we shall fight on the building sites, we shall fight in the pubs and in the pot banks, we shall fight in William Hills; we shall never let it go, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, Ryan did want to maim the **** for life, players get bad injuries all the time in football, and in the vast majority of cases there is no blame to be attached, but Ryan seemed to be unfairly singled out over this one, in my opinion."
That should clear things up.

Measured and dignified, just as you'd expect from the chairman.
We'll just have to wait until he's retired before he calls them a contemptible coterie of cunts.

Another unbiased article from the Mail Horror leg break again! Those pictures tell a one sided story (apart from Whelan helping) If you value your sanity, do not read the comments at the bottom of the article. There's only one thing worse than a Daily Mail reader, and that's a Daily Mail reader who supports Arsenal.
