Bought a car on the 16th and in the mot they found a problem which they said they fixed. Same problem has come up now and I want know my rights? Even though I've signed for it can I tell them to stuff it? Just as a threat for them collect it? I don't fancy driving a faulty car to Nottingham
Thanks ;D

I havent got a clue about your rights but ive just paid £400 for the third fuel pump in less than 3 years and it lasted 2 days before the car packed up again. Been waiting 4 days for the fucker from the garage to come and look at it and still no sign of him.
With everything that has gone wrong over the last 9 months, all caused by someone elses incompetence or cuntishness, I am close to embarking on a 'Falling down' style killing spree!!!
Fuck cars and fuck people.

Under the sale of goods act the dealer has the responsibility to ensure that the car is road worthy. If any issues arise in the first 6 months and you can prove it was an issue prior to buying - then it's down to the dealer to sort

the mrs bought a citroen saxo from a garage in tunstall once..and while she was driving it, it used to cut out for no reason..we took it back at least 20 times and the garage didn't give a shit..phoned trading standards they didn't give a shit..the last straw was when she was on the d road with little un in and it cut out with a lorry behind her..luckily it kicked straight back in...we wound up having another car and using the saxo as part exchange...i knew the bloke at the garage who took it and told him the problem...he changed the map sensor and all was fine till a week later and the gearbox went!!
