Before the game I was fearing that they may treat it as an end of season game, and that's what it looked like. Instead of spending £400k on this jolly they should have had a couple of days up and down the Trentham hills.

Is Dubai a jolly? I was under the impression they'd be running their bollocks off out there?

They should be concentrating on the job on hand and not have these distractions. I've rarely seen such a lackadaisical attitude as the first 20 minutes of the second half, can't see the benefits of these trips. Keep their noses to the grind wheel.

Is Dubai a jolly? I was under the impression they'd be running their bollocks off out there? Far as I can tell it's motivated by a desire to escape the weather here and allow for some decent training. I don't see any issue myself but jealousy can make people say silly things regarding footballers...

I don't think Dubai was anything to do with it to be honest.

Why would they be running their bollocks off out there? To make up for not running their bollocks off last night?

Bloody footballers, going off to the bloody sun, bloody bastards. Back in mar day theed be running up biggest hill in Trentham. Naked, with dunce hats on, with Tony Pulis screaming Goarrrn Jon! Goarnnnn! I honestly don't think whilst playing the players were musing... "oh I wonder what the hotel will be like next week? Looked ok on tripadvisor but I'm always a bit wary, hope there's a nice pool. Swimming. I love swimming, I like slides too, I hope there's a water slide" Is that really what was going on during the match..? Or were we simply outclassed....

The opening of the second half was nothing to be with being outclassed, the players were simply not doing what they were told, it was another case of lack of concentration and doing the basics.

Instead of spending £400k on this jolly they should have had a couple of days up and down the Trentham hills. Absolutely! That was what I feared and indeed witnessed. They looked like they were already on the 'beach/sand!' Flat, unmotivated, slow - awful tbh!

Part of the thinking behind such a trip is to be able to complete full days of training
Although the squad will probably be returning to more cold and windy conditions in 2 weeks time, the opportunity to train outside, very much in the style of training in good weather is surely a good move?
Most of us would look forward to a week or so in warmer climates.
Let's hope it works

Unless they find a way of breaking down teams like Swansea, they could be on their way to the Championship.

To be honest, I couldn't blame anyone for thinking about getting out of this country at this time of year. I,d bloody hibernate if I could. As I,ve gotten older, I,m hating this time of year more and more. In fact, I wish I had the wherewithal to emigrate! Moan over.

It was a disappointing performance, arguably an opportunity missed BUT, we did get a point Liverpool helped our cause with a very late goal v Fulham, Man City and Sunderland now have one extra game to fit in alongside their respective Cup games. It's going to be very tight in the bottom half of the table but we have to believe that we can survive.

Most of us would look forward to a week or so in warmer climates. Let's hope it works This is exactly the reasoning. Good surfaces, good conditions, the management can also monitor their nutrition and every other detail and a bit of ''team bonding'' too I guess. But no, they're all bastards who should, if anything, be cast out into the wilds of Siberia to train in a Gulag because they drew against Swansea. The bastards. Bastards going off to the fucking sunshine while we all peer out across a grey and gloomy Stoke-On-Trent. Jealous much...
