Yup, I am in agreement & I do think that it should be trialled at least to see how it goes even if at a select few grounds to start off with

Sure I read on SSN earlier that Bristol City will be the first club to do this starting next season, they're redeveloping Ashton Gate and will include a standing area.

They should definately be reintroduced. Germany is a perfect example in terms of allowing people to stand in the terraces. It's safe, increases the stadium capasity and should give the atmosphere a lift. And standing during the matches is far better than sitting in my opinion.
In Norway there are a few all-seater stadiums, but an increasing part of the clubs are ripping away the seats so the crowd can stand during the games. The stadiums with seats only do however allow fans to stand in the part of the stadiums that are to be considered as "singing areas".

Rightly or wrongly it would be a pointless excercise. Football as a match day experience has changed and moved on and it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference to the atmosphere in this country.

Disagree. It may take a few years in the Premier League but it would make a big difference to many supporters matchday experience. I think football will be better if we make the change.

The whole boothen standing would be something special. So much needs sorting with our club, first thing move the pissing away fans

I think a standing area in The Boothen would be awesome, however, it won't happen because it would involve forcing people already in there to move out and there would be too much refusal.

Might be a cheaper way to add the corner stand.
