According to Talk Sport this morning utd`s top earners have a clause written in their contracts by the club that they have to take a 25% pay cut if the club fail to make champions league. With the current situation , that is looking unlikely . Should make for an interesting summer. Not only will he struggle to get players in I would imagine a few like Van Persie trying to jump ship.

It would be a disaster for them. The biggest problem they have is Man City, Chelsea, and Liverpool are simply much better than they are at the moment. It will take time and huge investment for them to even break into the top four.

Has been mentioned on there a few times in the last few weeks. The agent that they have on from time to time suggested it was fairly standard practice at "the big clubs". Scholes out!
