Anyone willing to sell any of photos our fans from games in the 70s 80s or 90s home or away games, in particular the Reading away game from 1991. the pitch invasion day just to prove it did happen to a Royals mate who thinks I made it all up, looking to compile a scrapbook for my son of Stoke games, don't own many myself, bit of a longshot I know, but if anyone is willing to part with them or to scan them off for me that would be great, my email is andy23uk@hotmail.com, many thanks.

Stokes support was particularly moody that day. Turning on our own players, and then on the gob shites to the left in the paddock.

It happened alright! Got driven down there by a mate to get me out of the way of my surprise 30th birthday party preparations. Weird day; lotta drugs about, people running on pitch, some Stokie in shades sauntering around in the midst of their paddock, them getting a tad brave and their whole paddock clearing in a split second when Stokies accepted the challenge, so to speak. Not very pleasant outside either. Not a brilliant day out at all.

I have a scrapbook of newspaper reports from games going back over 100 years. Which do you want and I'll see if I have them and I will scan and email them to you.

I believe one of the Reading players was hit by a Stokie. The police looked terrified like they didn't know what had hit them. Anyone remember singing "we've got the best fans in the league, but we're right bastards when we' ve lost!". Well it made me laugh

I remember some posting a whole scrapbook of old cuttings a while ago now, it kept me going for a few days, but it may be older than you are looking. Not much help I realise but still interesting if you find the thread.
