Tuning in now. Just waiting for the valves in the old wireless to warm up. It sometimes takes a couple of wacks on the side to get it going, but it usually works. Tomato soup in a flask, with corned beef baps .. Looking forward as ever to the show.

Cameron made no attempt whatsoever to try and clear the ball but for me it was just one of those freak goals that happen now and again.

Cameron made no attempt whatsoever to try and clear the ball but for me it was just one of those freak goals that happen now and again. It happened too quickly for Cameron to react because he was expecting Begovic to nab it, all happened within a second. But you could argue what the hell Cameron was doing, he was stuck in two minds to stick with his man or follow the ball. But I agree, it's a freak goal that happens every now and again. I'd worry if it became a regular thing though.

Muniesa had a good day, bit suspect with his positioning at times, but I do like his runs forward. What I am questioning is how Hughes is going too fit Arnie, Odemwingie & Assaidi into the same team?? Not keen on Walters but fair play, he has been a different player upfront.

The Swansea game next is probably the biggest game of the season so far imo because even though we've taken four great points out of the last 2 games we are still in a relegation dogfight.Win and we open up a gap, Lose and we are right in the mix followed by Man City and Arsenal.

Personally I think we will batter Swansea straight back down the M50 (thumbsup)We are a completely different team at home. Praying West Brom go down also.

It is very important that Walters gives their centre backs a frightful battering. They like to build from the back and Chico doesn't like being bruised and bloodied.

Don't know about bottom 3 but it would be nice to send the baggies down on the last day.

I would like too see Arnie in Crouch's position with Walters behind him, just for the fact that Arnie would run the channels and open there back 4 up more, plus he is much more creative.
Only against Swansea though.

Some of us don't need a flag to strangle those around us or on here at times

Could the club not put hooks or something on the back wall so the fans can hang their own flags up. It would look good if we could surround the ground with our own efforts.

Question for the 3 of you.Why do you think our away followings of late are so poor considering we have free travel?
|
|
|
Post by StokieAsh13 on Feb 9, 2014 19:50:12 GMT
Instead of free away travel, why don't they take the money they spend on that and knock it off season ticket prices ?? It is clear every where that something needs to be done with costs throughout the premier league.

The traffic after the games is worse than the money IMO. Put's a downer on a good "if rare" result

In this formation the full backs aren't having to attack so much, therefore they are not being caught out of position. This is allowing both wingers to concentrate on attacking rather than worrying about tracking back every time. I thought this was made clear in the case of Arnie as he looked to have an extra yard of pace against United.

I would have bought Ireland on instead of Nzonzi. It was there for the taking yesterday and I think hughes fluffed the subs. 1 bringing on Nzonzi and 2 the subs were about 10 minutes too late.

Is there any truth that the stadium is going to be sponsored by Charles Robinson And Partners?
