'Charlie Adams first goal was so lucky' 'We didnt deserve to lose' 'It wasnt a freekick that lead to the goal' 'Arnies miskick for the 2nd goal was lucky' The United specs are never taken off its hilarious. They are the worst bunch of losers and cant except they are having a shit season. At the end of the day we have had 6 weeks off dreadful luck and hopefully the tide has turned

My boss and also a supervisor both said too me today "don't mention Saturday". I have been watching Stoke City for too long to annoy them until I know we are mathematically safe. Then it will be all guns blazing.

Thats what they've been telling us for years. maybe this year they don't see it as being very even. Now they know how we feel.

My boss and also a supervisor both said too me today "don't mention Saturday". I have been watching Stoke City for too long to annoy them until I know we are mathematically safe. Then it will be all guns blazing. And therein lies the problem with gloryhunters. I work with a number of Villa, Birmingham, Baggies & Wolves fans. Whoever has lost goes and searches out the winner to front up and get it over with. We all understand that for a few days we are going to be fair game. At the end of the day, win, lose or draw they are the teams we support and other than affecting our mood for a few days, the result isn't going to change that. "Real" football fans don't need to hide!

I didn't make a big deal about it.
Just said it was a routine win against a shit team marooned in mid-table obscurity.
That seemed to cut them down. Wankers to a man

Thing is I never phone, text or in person take the piss out of mates who support other teams because I can empathise with them. I support Stoke, the butt of many a joke when all said and done and I know how suicidal losing makes me feel for a short while. However, on Saturday my phone and computer were in fucking meltdown. And work today was a dream come true. Bastards got both fucking barrels. I'm not proud of it but 29 years of frustration went a long way.

They're the only ones I know so can't understand why everybody hates them.

Half or dozen so shit fans where I work. It's always the same after a win lording it up with united tops on every Monday if they win and go hiding when they get beat. Every Monday you here the smug arrogance of "what happened to your lot saturday"? Not a fuckin murmur of any of them today and I just rubbed it in even more by not even mentioning the subject. You get them in every office and on every shop floor. They average about 1 live game every two years when they can bum hospitality or use somebodies season ticket who's gone on holiday.sheep the fuckin lot of them.for a shit fan to accuse any team of being lucky is rich when they have more deflections, scrappy goals, penalties and and dodgy disisioms than the entire league put together.

ox·y·mo·ron (?k?s?-môr??n?, -m?r?-) n. pl. ox·y·mo·ra (-môr??, -m?r??) or ox·y·mo·rons A rhetorical figure in which contradictory terms are combined, as in "a deafening silence", "military intelligence" and "United fans perspective".

The shit fan here was honest enough - it was a game between two mid-table battlers.....Moyes has turned United into a bad copy of his Everton team.

His reply was that sums up their season thus far

My experience is the same as yours. Most of the united fans today said they thought we wanted the win more than they did.

His reply was that sums up their season thus far I took over from a Man Utd fan today, he'd done the night shift, he is actually from Manchester and isn't above moaning his bag off about them to be fair. Anyroad, I said fuck all about the result, I could tell we were both thinking about it tho' Got to take over from him twice more this week, can't see me being able to keep my gob shut tbh...

Fuck it I have given it both barrels. Normally I'm quite reserved because we ALL know Stoke will leave us face palming in the not to distant future. But for now. I'm been a right cocky shite... and loving it. Football tonight and half of them that come along are Manure shiterssss. I'm gonna be Charlie Adam this eve... Pass me a pie and a pint as well as a booming left footed long rangerrrrr !

I had a classic from a MU fan, seems he was in a pub on Saturday night and got talking to a bloke who had been to the game, this geezer did not support either team and was totally neutral and guess what....He thought MU were totally superior and he could not believe that Stoke had won the game, Stoke should have had Walters sent off and that Stoke were not only the dirtiest but also the worst team he had ever seen. Pathetic drivel sums it up I think.

Yes, there was an element of luck in both our goals, a huge slice of it in the first, but as has already been said we've had a run of horrible luck recently so it's nice to have it swing our way for a change.
Having said that, those who are saying Manure were the better team and didn't deserve to lose are either lying, didn't actually watch the game, or have their heads so far up their own arses they can lick their own tonsils. We had the better chances, particularly in the second half, and on balance probably should have won by more.
Add to that the fact that they were lucky that their goal was allowed to stand at all (offside, as has been discussed in numerous threads) and it sounds even more ridiculous.
Scholes out!

My experience is the same as yours. Most of the united fans today said they thought we wanted the win more than they did. Their local Manc fans are just supporting their local club and like most people who support their local club they are likely to have more humility and understanding of what it is like to be a genuine football fan and the ups and down in emotion that that brings. Your gloryhunting fuckwit on the other hand has none of these qualities and is therefore far more likely to act like a spoilt 5 year old when something goes wrong. I suspect that it is these gloryhunting fuckwits that are drawing the most criticism on this thread. BM

I've spoken to 2 vale fans @ work today (1st day back, I always book the Monday after super bowl off) and they've both said well done and fair play, the best team won. Shit fans have just pretty much avoided me apart from the one who's actually from Manchester who said pretty much the same.
