"I thought we were extremely unlucky. We played well in difficult conditions but we have lost to one wicked deflection and one worldy.
But we should have been out of sight with the amount of opportunities we had today and we only have ourselves to blame."
Now as far as I can remember we had much better opportunities and can't remember Bego making many, if any, except for one brilliant save?
I guess he's got to deflect?

Not the same game everyone else was watching, we could, and possibly should have scored more.

I think he pulled off one save in the first half and that outstanding save from rooney's free kick however we really should have scored another couple from a couple of chances we had from corners. but yes Moyes is trying to put a brave face on the fact that despite spending 37mill on one player in the transfer window that they probably didn't need they failed to address their lack of steel in midfield or defence.

It's the "it's wrong for a smaller club to be allowed to beat us" mentality that's crept into the game.
One of the reasons which makes it sweeter when we beat the likes of these, Chelsea and Arsenal.

If anything we should have been 3 up before Rooney hit the post. How Shawcross and Crouch messed that corner up I don't know and the shot Arnie hit wide was toss and should have been on target too. Chances we should be doing much better with. EDIT-yeah Assaidi too, he should have smashed it with his right or played in Ireland or the one other player we had over there, poor. But I guess he's got to keep the deluded soundbites up, it makes him look even shitter else!

Say something enough times in the media and eventually it will become the truth.
The truth is your team were fucking battered David(despite having the ref in your pocket) and your too spineless to admit it.

I've just read his quotes, and was shaking my head all the way through.
I thought Wenger was deluded!
He's got to fight his corner and pretend he's making strides.
Bit I was amazed a team with that array of forward power could look so shite!

Bit I was amazed a team with that array of forward power could look so shite! RVP, Rooney and Mata can't all start for me, Moyes doesn't have any ideas so he's just throwing his best players onto the pitch regardless of whether the positions suit them.

Just been looking at the post match on red cafe... This ones choice
"103 minutes of incessant crossing. Score through the middle from a through ball.
Fucking genius.
Otherwise, it was one of those days. We were playing against 12 men when we should have been playing against 9 or 10."

'difficult conditions' This always amuses me, do they think our players play with a tropical aura buzzing around them...it was the same for us, and i agree with the above...Bego would've been bored titless if he hadn't had that save to make! Moyes is a dead man walking, in my opinion and he's making the noises of a desperate man, I almost pity his rambling....almost

Fergie has blood on his hands recommending that ginger no-mark. Fergie knew what he was doing when he took a step back, he fluked last season with that squad and he knew he couldn't wing it another season. Mata isn't going to be their saviour like Moyes thinks he is. Van Persie, Rooney and Mata as good as they are, are not the answer to their problems. As soon as Jones went off, they were found wanting at the back.

The OP asks "What game was Moyes watching?"
Probably the same one that will be seen in the MOTD highlights ?
No doubt we will get little or no credit as it will be portrayed as United having an off day etc etc etc, and no mention of how great Stoke were.
