Anybody saying hughes out is really pathetic. I thought we absolutely battered Sunderland, just couldn't finish our dinner. Their keeper had a fantastic game and there were positives for Stoke today. People are complaining at Hughes for bringing on Walters. I'd say the reason for this was because of the N'zonzi red card, if this hadn't happened he would have brought Guidetti on to try and bring us back in the game, but we all know how well Walters works defensively. Please just stick by the manager, "Hughes out" will not help your beloved team, you have to get behind him and support him.

Need to start games better, start taking our chances and stop getting sent off. If we do were safe, if we don't, well ...

Hughes = relegation End of argument. Wrong, it's the extent of your argument. We should no more get rid of Hughes than get rid of Pulis this time last season. We need to man up, dig in and show the same fight the ten lads did tonight after the red card. If you haven't the stomach for it then I suggest you stay well away. We need everyone on board for this dogfight...

Prefer backs to the wall, defending a 1 - 0 rather than this...playing well and still losing...relegation all over it. I certainly am not interested in losing 2 -4...we are in an eternal era of winning at all costs...where's TP when you need him?

Signing off til the Utd game me thinks.. too many mardarses on here who can't seem to get a grip when it gets a little tough!
We WILL be fine! And Hughes IS the right man to take us forward!

Hughes persists with 1 up front leaving a lethargic Crouch to chase shadows. 5 mile gap between midfield and attack in a team that wont play a forward pass is suicide.
Disgraceful substitutions did nothing to help our cause. We cannot persist like this unless we want to be relegated.
Panic buying now will see us with more journeymen in the squad in 2 days time

Right Man - Wrong result.
Agree completely with brining on SJW when we did, needed that legs and cover at that time.

We should stick with the manager.
However, that performance in the first 20 odd minutes was puerile and his tactics are becoming more and more questionable as each week goes by.

So march you saying Coates out as Hughes is HIS man, he wanted him he got him he has't backed him or he has already told him to do what he can with ZERO money and to be honest I think Hughes has done ok trying to play football with the team he inherited, like I have said I think Hughes football is a step too far for us and we needed a middle ground progression not revolution.
Revolution needed BIG BIG money not peanuts.
Progression needed a change of style and a few strong signings.
So I don't blame Hughes , I don't even blane Pulis I blame the guy with the money not knowing what it takes to get what he wants.
If Peter Coates is a Stoke fan he needs talk to the other Stoke fans not financial advisors. If he wants to make money buy Lucky 7 not a football team.

Absolute gash. Has les any official coaching badges? Maybe worth investigating, could be a cheap way to void his employment.

First 25, awful. Last 20 first half, half decent. 2nd half, ten men, gave it a go, but it was never going to happen was it?
Some pride but no points. There's always a reason, but no points. Good players, nice style of play, no points. The Arnie flick; lovely, but no goal, so no points
We can't change this mid season, we must get behind what we've got.
But can we please replace some of the fancy stuff with some passion?
So disappointed tonight but we have to pick ourselves up and give it a real go on Saturday.

I'll not say Hughes Out - it's unhelpful and pointless, but ask yourself a few questions:
1) Is it right that this Stoke side never starts with intent and only starts playing once we've conceded? 2) Is it right that we're still weak in several key areas, despite the best part of two transfer windows? 3) Was it right to sub Jon Walters on? 4) Was it right to wait to bring on Guidetti till nearly injury time? Or to not give him a start? 5) Does it make sense that we have the worst disciplinary record in the league? The worst away record? 6) Are you content to keep telling yourself 'it'll come good' after yet another brave, yet shambolic result?
I'm sorry, but for me the answer to all the above are a resounding no. Simply, Hughes isn't good enough.

We will play the same under this muppet. Fancy flicks and possession football. I lost count of the times we have the ball in dangerous areas and end up passing it back to the keeper.
Worrying. Les is a fanny so he won't be strong enough for the relegation fight
