Regardless if his words have been twisted a bit, its good to see a player rearing to go; if he can translate into goals, ill be pleased.

Talks cheap. He needs to be given the chance to back it up. If he doesn't get the chance he's let himself, Stoke & Man City down.
I just hope he's not critical of his teammates in the press if they fail to service him. That is inexcusable.

Let's get this straight! We loan a future talent from Man City, one who has been banded about by the experts as possibly the next Ibrahimovic due to their similarities in style. He can't get a game at his club due to Aguero et al. So he comes to Stoke on loan who's scoring record over the last 3 years has been fucking wank, and he gets pissed off seeing Jon Walters and Crouch start before him? What's fucking wrong with that? He's here to get the experience and match fitness as well as to help us. Damn right there should be a problem if he doesn't play against Sunderland! I defended Hughes for not playing him against Chelsea, but I will be fucking fuming if he doesnt play at the Stadium of Shite. We have some reet cunters who call themselves supporters we really do.

Maybe he's seen enough of Walters and Crouch already to come to the conclusion he needs to start.
It must be demoralising for Guidetti to sit and watch, like many before him, knowing what he's capable of ?
But yet again, we all know that Crouch and the king of blow jobs will start....

Once again, a twat (in my opinion). I don't know how many times I've said it though, but I am sure some people would still disagree with me. I hope he'll come good though. "If I don't feature against Sunderland we're gonna have a problem" Who does he think he is?! Jesus Christ Almighty. There we have blind agenda driven crap at its finest, no one knows what he said and that article twisted it even more than the original sentinel article. But it's ok to believe the press because bombus "told us so".

Whichever way you look at it, 'Swedish wonder talent, desperate to play' or 'mouthy gobshite who hasn't kicked a ball in 3 years shouting the odds' he hasn't half put some pressure on himself with his comments. He has shortened his own honeymoon period to zero.
I'm expecting to see a combination of Zlatan, Ronaldo and fucking Jesus the way he bangs on.

If he can get goals for stoke it'd be like turning water into wine in my eyes, bunch of inept players in front of the back five when it comes to finishing in all honesty. With the Biggest one being Super Judas Walters.

I haven't seen/heard him talk himself up other then to say he feels good and thinks he can score goals for us, I don't recall him saying anything that sounds like over confidence. He's just saying he feels good and wants to play.

I think it could be interesting to see how Guidetti and Arnie linkup together, Guidetti seems to have the skill and pace required to get the best out of Arnie.

journalist: if you had stayed on longer might you have scored? Guidetti: possibly, yes.
report: Guidetti says he should have been given more time and he would have scored.
That's. how it works.

I know hes a young lad and the press may have twisted his words slightly, but he shouldnt be speaking out like this, it reflects badly on Hughes and the club. I would expect him to be a bit pissed off and knocking on Hughes' door demanding he starts, but this should not be made public. Jones and Jerome mouthing off about Pulis was bad enough for the club, but criticising the current manager's decisions in the press is not on.

I'll have to concede the fact that in his native tongue, the comments might well have sounded different to how I read them in translation. You'll have to forgive me though if I take your word with a pinch of salt, given the quite personal abuse I've seen written by yourself about him before now. Fair enough, mate. But basically, what he said was that if he doesn't get to play "we're going to have a problem here". I'd be lying if I said I knew exactly what he meant by saying that - but in my opinion he is in no position to express himself like that. He was ill three days straight before the game as well, wasn't he? Also, had not Pieters picked up his knock - I'm sure MH would have given John the chance, just like he did against Palace. The boy needs to calm down and have a bit of patience. By the way, I spoke to his father who was at Selhurst Park last weekend. He agreed with me that it just wasn't good enough - I hope Guidetti might be able to change that somehow though. As I read it, I genuinely don't think he meant that he would cause a problem if he is not picked, more so that the team will 'have a problem' as in suffer for the lack of him not playing. Which I have to agree with despite the lack of minutes I've actually seen him play competitively. I think his lack of patience is a blessing for us right now. I can't say I wouldn't react the same watching Walters and Crouch amble around the pitch with an astonishing lack of urgency, while Guidetti is sat on his backside looking on. It comes down to ambition really I suppose, and I'm sure it's hard not to feel a little aggrieved that you're stuck begin players such as ours as opposed to the calibre he's seen at Citeh. He'll see this as an opportunity to make is mark in England and show Citeh that he's good enough, and his time is precious while here on loan. While his reasons are selfish in that regard, lets not pretend ours aren't too.

The lad must play at Blunderland, we need a spark right now, not in three matches time when we play Swansea. We will lose tmorrow if we don't get some passion in the team, play Adam, play guidetti, and anyone else who is knocking down the door to play. Seriously, we need a bit of passion, the style of play is not the issue. PS, Get rid of Nzonzi!! Play Adam and Ireland and Cattermle when he signs, Whelan will do for now. Pieters not a good enough defender I'm afraid.

I like his attitude tbh. He wants desperately wants to play and he's kicking up a fuss like arrogant fuck he is. Lovely, of course he has to match it with performances on the pitch. He should start on Wednesday imo. He can do no worse than Walters. he just sounds keen to play to me, i don't think hes been arrogant or disrespectful. hes no where near the arrogance levels of "god" zlatan, and "fancyboy" ronaldo. I don't think he's being disrespectful. Calling him arrogant is a compliment imo. I want my strikers to be "arrogant fucks".

Given those rumors about him being upset at not playing thus far, I wouldn't be surprised to see him get the nod. (Even if he's not angry, he certainly appears anxious).
Crouch and Odemwingie on bench; could see either of them in the 2nd half.
