Flattering scoreline, they didn't need to get out of first gear honestly - second half we weren't too bad, first half the same old story, sloppy in possession, defensive tactics weak - this isn't about individual player quality, it's training ground stuff and lack of motivation...
5 from me

0.
Negative tactics, dreadful substitutes and virtually no reaction to going one down. To top it off a totally baffling post match analysis.

Playing Walters is now indefensible.

Stuffed Guidetti full of neurofen, nothing happening, shrugged and started planning for Sunderland. Not worth rating.

I'll go for a 7. He clearly has picked a team with Wednesday in mind. He will restore a fresh and eager Assaidi to the left wing intead of Walters, a rested Adam in place of Ireland and start with Guidetti up front with Arnie.
If he doesn't do the above I'll give him a 5 for today.

4 from me totally gutless performance with nothing up top, I point dropped for not bringing guidetti on specially when we needed a goal, Walters was dog shit today. Crouch wins everything in the air but no one reading the knock downs. Need a strong fast goal scorer to avoid relegation, a Cisse, ba, lukaku kind of player

5. Minus 2 for playing Walters. Minus 3 for keeping him on for 90mins. So 0.

3.5/4.0
Two positives out of the game.
1. We didn't concede 7
2. It's the joint best scoreline we have had at Stamford Bridge in 15 odd years.

3 - We looked a bit more organised in defence, but we seem to lack belief and confidence. The performance was indescribable: I have no idea what he is trying to achieve and I don't think the players do either. We look as good as QPR last season - the soul is being sucked out of the club, dreadful stuff at the moment.

6 - still better than any Pulis effort there. Take the scorelines out and remember the matches, more importantly, remember the performances or 'efforts' which were, in my opinion very much better for 1 reason or maybe 10 reasons than today's 'effort'.... Chelsea 2-1 Stoke City (2008/09)That was a performance full of fight, guts, passion, determination and steel that made all Stokies proud. Chelsea 2-0 Stoke City (2010/11)Much better performance than today's, we didn't deserve anything from the game but we showed up. Chelsea 1-0 Stoke City (2011/12)Fuller helped screw this one up for us big time by getting sent off, but we showed loads of spirit and dogged determination to keep it down to 1-0. Chelsea 1-0 Stoke City (2012/13)"Stoke could have snatched the points here and arguably created the better chances." We did play well and i thought we deserved to draw this one. Now i'll finish this post off by stating that i'm honestly not someone who likes to even mention or indeed compare and contrast between our current manager and our previous one. That's tedious, absolutely pointless and irrelevant. However i felt i'd stick this one in because to state something like "still better than any Pulis effort there" is just plain stupid and completely inaccurate. I don't give a flying fuckeroony if somebody despises Tony Pulis or despises Mark Hughes, loves Tony Pulis or loves Mark Hughes. I do however, give an ever so slight fuckeroony when people state such nonsense like "still better than any Pulis effort there" to try and make a peurile and absolutely pointless dig at our previous manager. What does that gain? Nothing at all and especially when you're wrong.

2 for having the balls to show up for the after match interview. We should have gone back to our all white strip today the ice cream seller would have been our motm. Total betrayal of what Stoke City is supposed to be.

Never wanted this arrogant tit at my club, he was unemployed for a reason and Stoke being Stoke under our junior disaster went for the horrible cheap option.
He'll relegate us without any doubt.

It was going to be a 4 as I agree with the original poster, but was more disappointed by our not generating anything in the last 15 minutes. Even a third division team would have made Cahil head away some hopeful punts but we had nothing. I'd forgotten Hughes' after match analysis though - that was just delusional and has to cost him a point.
