Here's hoping we may see some of Guidetti's self-confidence on display, at Stamford Bridge, today!

Hope he struggles a bit this season - then we get Man City to sell him to us for £5m.
With self belief like that he must be worth an investment.

A confident fella. Look at Messi we have Guidetti. A pity he didn't come on against Palace ten minutes earlier.

Hopefully that article will help calm expectations (apart from in JG's mind!) given how horrible that illness sounded.

Cant wait to see this young lad play.i love his attitude. I feel that we will all be gutted when he leaves us, this summer.

Wouldn't be surprised if this lad is a superstar in a few years and we are all discussing "the one that got away ..."

Can't help but warm to him and admire his confidence after reading that. Sentinel interview"I set my standard and the bar is very high," says the self-confident but engaging Guidetti. "I have a figure in my head for what I want to score and where we finish in the table"
He does appear to view this as his kind of Lukaku breakthrough loan. And he's kind of expecting to start the bulk of games? Wonder what would happen if we do bring in another striker in the next week regarding where he sits in the pecking order. Can we assume Wingie will mainly feature out wide?

He's got that bit of selfishness and cockyness, it seems, that we haven't had in a striker for a while.

He looks and talks like Bendtner but let's not hold that against him.
It's weirdly believable that he would have scored if he'd played an extra 10 minutes against Palace.

Great read. He's cocky, in a good way. No harm in that. Id say 30%-50% of a footballers overall ability on the pitch is down to down to confidence (ref: ethers, jones, pennant etc). If hes got half the talent he thinks he has he will be brilliant.

Always liked that quote about Bendtner (can't remember from who) that went summat along the lines of - "if he was half as good as he thought he was, he'd be twice as good as he actually is"

He's got that bit of selfishness and cockyness, it seems, that we haven't had in a striker for a while. From The beattie/Fuller period. We need to support this guy, he had some really bad period of his life, and he needs to be feel like at home Hope Fans shows him support!

Never touched a drop of alcohol in his life.....not too many young players who make that sort of commitment to their career.
