The article I read it wasn't Wenger complaining just for his team but for all the teams that still have to face United, particularly those in a title race. And all he was saying was 'MAKE IT FAIR'. So exactly what's the problem here? Are we against fairness?!

I heard on the wireless yesterday that they were saying what a clever move it was, Chelsea get the best bit of 40 mil for him and he doesn't have to play against them til next season, therefore all he is likely to do is improve utd (not enough to make them win the league) but maybe help them to take points off the other teams around Chelsea! very clever! Yeah, but has anyone been round the cafe, carwash, gararge or anywhere else to give you the benefit of there inside knowledge!?!

In which case....he has a point. What you are basically saying is that you are going to ignore it though because he's a moaning cunt. He has no point. He conveniently forgets selling his best player to Manure and he has loaned players to lesser clubs as well. Wilshire to Bolton for example! He's an arse and even you couldn't put forward a case for his defence!

well, it wouldn't surprise me if a rule comes out in the very near future that clubs are limited to a certain number of players that they can loan out for this very reason.
yep, he may be a hypocrite on the subject but he does have a point...
...but just like Collymore...fuck him.

Suppose he's ignored the 37m transfer fee... Cock!
Surprised he's not complained about us loaning Guidetti.

His argument is that Chelsea have played Man United twice this season so it's unfair that Mata won't have to play against Chelsea but can face Arsenal in 2013/14. Yeah, the bloke is an arse. Did he really say that ?? We all get two transfer windows, every club can buy, sell and loan (within the rules) whoever they want (or can get ) and we all play each other twice. He really is a top draw, grade A, gold plated knob jockey.

Lukaku ON LOAN at Everton - gives Everton a better chance of taking points off Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool etc - but cannot play vs Chelsea - that could be considered unfair. You could say that Assaidi being able to play (and have an impact) against Chelsea, but not against Liverpool is 'Unfair'.
Chelsea SELLING Mata is different IMHO. Ok so Chelsea don't have to play Man Utd again this season, but they will have to in future seasons. Do you think if Chelsea stiil had to play Man Utd in March, that it would stop this transfer? of course not. You could even extend the argument to suspensions etc. Vidic got sent off vs Chelsea and will be unavailable to play against Stoke City, but will be able to play against 'our rivals', if that 'Unfair' Asmir Begovic helped us to get a point at home to Southampton - but was unavailable due to injury to play against Newcastle - is that 'unfair' on Southampton. The teams that played Liverpool in the first few matches and didn't have to face Suarez - was that 'unfair'. What if Aguero was injured for both Arsenal vs Man City matches? Would Wenger insist that they were re-arranged so that Arsenal would have to face Aguero just like Chelsea?
I could go on with many, many, many examples - showing how silly this argument is. It is a squad game, and the strength of a squad can vary from match to match.

You have to reluctantly admire the French, we obey the rules and even gold plate them, they bend them, ignore them or complain.

Its a load of old goats bollocks. Its a transfer not a loan, he could have made a fucking offer if he fancied signing mata.
Only wenger would get involved in a transfer (not loan) between two other clubs.
And the 'professor' clearly isnt that fucking smart, as the only people who should be pissed off are the ManUre fans.
All this transfer says is that chelsea consider them absolutely no threat (and theyre right for at least 3 years!) ... of course the deluded fucking plastic mancs will be oblivious to that fact as well.

Wenger seems to be showing signs of clinical paranoia, I reckon. Wtf is he on about? So he's saying that no team can sell a player to a potential rival of Arsenal unless the player is rubbish. He needs help.

Remember when he wanted the offside rule to apply to throwins because we beat them by using it. He said we had an unfair advantage. He's like a spoilt child.

He has a wafer thin point but really it's just one of those things.
As others have pointed out loans are worse - you get to strengthen a side against all your rivals but not you and keep the bloke to repeat the idea next season; suspensions and injuries make teams weaker against some sides than others.
Indeed you could equally say that we are hard done to having to play Crystal Palace and Sunderland now while other teams got to beat them when they were a complete shambles. How dare they not continue being as shit for the whole season as they were at the start of it!

If the senile old fooker thinks that Mata can make that much of a difference, then why didn't he put a bid into Chelsea for his services? Maybe he could have offered the calcium-deficient one in part-ex

You forget how fucking annoying Arsenal and its fans can be until they're in with a sniff of winning something.

I was thinking how funny it could be, if someone set up a website called 'The World According to Arsene'. Imagine the fun you could have on that pointing out Arsehole's blind hypocrisy, in pretty much every interview he gives.
