A pitiful effort only Butland deserves a wage , Palace are a poor team not much better than Leicester but our overpaid prima donna's chose not to turn up today and we are now in big trouble because we will not play a worse team for the rest of the season .
I feel sorry for Hughes because the club will not give him money but he should have got a lot more from his players today , they are much better than the palace players but let him down today in a huge game

We should have been able to put Piers Morgan in goal and still got a result against that shower of shit. As usual it's Stoke City benefits are us to the lower teams.

I thought Ryan did ok.
The worst culprits for lack of effort were the players LMH has brought into the club. Not much of a way to repay his faith, especially Ireland who has just received a nice juicy contract.

There have been quotes direct from the club where they have said he has money to spend now and did in the summer.

For me the following played ok or better.
Butland
Shawcross
Wilson
Adam
Again Crouch got no protection from the referee, Cameron had some good moments and some poor.
Assaidi put over a good number of crosses which came to nothing. After some good work at the back it was his mistake which led to the goal.
Have a better Sunday one and all!
On another day some of the shots from ADAM would have gone in!!!!
17 Shots, yes only two on target but plenty of effort. We made it difficult for ourselves after we conceded. In typical TP fashion they then continued to break up play and waste time very professionally.
Yes we lost. Yes very disappointing. It makes the next game more important and yes it may be a longer winter and spring. You know Stoke will not make it easy.

Wilson had time have a wank while puncheon was trying set up the shot. And why does ryan keep trying to block shots like a fairy. Instead of throwing themselves at things we keep turning our backs and sticking a half hearted leg out.

If we do manage to stay up this season,a big clear out is needed, before the start of next season.

Yes, on the face of it 17 shots away from home ain't bad, but I notice Reading also had 17 shots today and scored 7 goals!

17 shots (only 2 on target), 57% possession.
We're shit.
Shawcross and Pieters played well. The rest of the outfield players should hang their heads in shame.
Walters finally did something right in the 67th minute!

Instead of throwing themselves at things we keep turning our backs and sticking a half hearted leg out. Isn't that the first game in like 5 that we haven't conceded a penalty? The shocking decisions that have gone against us recently must be terrifying our defenders. If Shawcross goes in for a tackle and as a result the force of the air knocks Puncheon over, its another penalty to add to our collection. Blocking is a safer route and you can understand why the players would prefer to do this. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but weren't some criticising Wilson for challenging Sterling in the box last week, and now we are criticising for not making risky challenges?

"Pre Madonnas" Just out of curiosity mate, what do you think that means? A temperamental, conceited person. [Italian : prima, feminine of primo, first + donna, lady.] prima donna .. sorry about the spelling been out all day on beer and disappointment applies to Arnie Ireland and Nzonzi particularly

He was shocking yesterday and the quicker Pulis signs him for Palarse the better!!

What really disappointed me today, was our player of the season, at least outfield, had a nightmare. Cameron was all over the place and it was a real sad sight because he's been so good up till this game. Hopefully just a blip.

We know what a prima donna is. Amuse us with what a "Pre Madonna" could be. I can offer a candidate for a post Madonna. Gaga, perhaps. The worst part about yesterday isn't that Palace are woeful - they are. Nor is that we were even worse than them - we were. Nor is it that we made their keeper make a (good) save in the first 7 or 8 mins, and then not again for the rest of the game - we didn't so far as I can recall. Nor that we had no plan B (or in fact A) - we didn't. Nor that we conceded an awful goal - we did, and it looks even worse on TV. No, the worst thing for me was that almost without exception (I agree that Butland should have slept soundly last night) the team does not look like one that believes it is in the brown stuff - and fighting as a consequence. That is worrying, because I would say we are indeed in the brown stuff. Deeply.
