At the start of the season what were your expectations out of interest?
Gradual transition towards a more balanced style of play, with good days and bad days, a relegation battle more than likely given the shape we were in last season and the lack of major signings?
Or breezing our way into the top ten, vastly improved in attack but with the previous regime's defensive solidity perfectly intact?

I was expecting Walters to be transferred to Vale Park ....N'Zonzi and Adam to play probing passes into the box and a couple of new strikers brought in.
I was also hoping that we could beat the likes of Palace with ease.

Many expectations were deemed null and void after the summer transfer window. Mine were certainly based on spending £15m to £20m to give the whole club a good shot at a fresh start

Honestly
I was expecting much of what we are currently seeing
The team/squad was a paceless guiless rabble and it would take a season of survival to rectify
Let's not try and rewrite history eh

A team to piss all over a team that Pulis cannot organise.

I,m disappointed that T.P. Hasn't, made an offer for Walters. At least I thought that he,d take him off our hands. He is NOT good enough, and too slow, as are a number of our players,

I was expecting to get rid of all our sub standard player we need proven goalscores not proven NO goal scores , we need defenders who can pass a ball (forwards and backwards) yet we still have Walters,Whelan, who would never play for another prem team starting for us Couch not scoring anywhere near enough may be a substitute for this season but moved at the end of it for certain.
I didn't expect to be gifting goals to opposition teams while we slide towards relegation with an impudent chairman who seems determined to watch us drop before backing his man.
Maybee the prem is too big for us as we have not mended the Ground or backed the manager which to me is a statement of intent. intent to say no more cash if we go down then so be it.

Wankstains were expecting better but as widely predicted we've got rid of the best manager we've had in a lifetime and replaced him with one that will no doubt take us down, either this season or next.

Honest answer?
Lower mid table finish
Improvement in playing style
Players showing fight
Survival if needs be as long as progress is being made

History shows that Pulis got us into the prem, kept us there comfortably and got us to an FA cup final. Now THAT'S history!!

I expected a relegation battle and a lot of squirming from some of the posters on this board. Hmmm...
