Wilson not to blame for the goal, Assaidi passed it to Puncheon.

Wilson could of went for the ball atleast instead of stamping his leg like a stallion but assaidi really messed that up.

Assaidi just needed to clear his lines.

Agreed that Assaidi shouldn't have played it there but Wilson was fast asleep when he did

If he jumped in and gave away another pen you'd be ripping into him for that too. What did you make of Assaidi's assist?

He was fast asleep. We seriously need to sort our defense out

Both of them were at fault.

Like most goals there were multiple players who could have done something different to stop it. Assaidi had to cover for Pieters, then he passed it to the other team, Wilson was positioned all wrong (should have channeled Puncheon to the outside, not toward goal) and Shawcross got nutmegged. Horrible.

I don't think I've ever seen a professional football player fall for the fake shot 3 times in a row.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times, I'm Marc Wilson.

Wilson not to blame for the goal, Assaidi passed it to Puncheon. wilson still had 3 chances to put his foot on the ball stop the shot I thought he did well not to dive in and concede the pen (I stopped thinking this after it went thru Shawx's legs and into the goal). You're being harsh on Wilson I think

Their player got into the space far too easily. What a mess
Butland kept it at 1-0

Need a change of coach driver for next season if this garbage continues, we are absolutely shocking in all departments apart from goalkeeper, there is inspiration coming from the management , I just can' t see us improving

You can't really blame Wilson, it was down to Assaidi really!
I think Wilson is still living the nightmare of any tackle in the box and it's another penalty!

Assaidi's fault. If he hadn't given the ball away in his own box Wilson wouldn't have had to deal with it!!

I don't rate Wilson either but to blame him completely for the goal is pathetic!

Three players at fault
1/ Pieters - gets pulled out of position far to easily and leaves Assaidi on his own. 2/ Assiadi - does well until he makes that god awful pass. 4/ Wilson - dear god what was he doing? something tells me he was to worried about giving a penalty away.

Assaidi's fault. If he hadn't given the ball away in his own box Wilson wouldn't have had to deal with it!! well he was in a situation where he had to deal with it and had 3 chances to do so and failed .the guy even faked the shot 3 times he mugged wilson off bigtime

Wilson definitely at fault for the goal.
Assaidi has chased his man down from the half way line and then taken possession off him at the vital moment and then rather than putting it out for a corner, he makes a simple knock back to Wilson, who is in a much better position to hoof it up the field.
The problem however is that Wilson was COMPLETELY ASLEEP AGAIN!
He's cost us far too many times now.

Agree with you Paul.
Whilst the pass was not the greatest pass you are ever likely to see, Wilson did not have a clue where he was.
Then the defending after that, don't even get me started on that.

Yes mate it wasn't a great pass at all but if Wilson had got even half an eye on what was going on, it wouldn't have remotely become an issue. He switches off time after time, he just isn't quick enough (mentally) to play top flight football.

I feel Wilson was definitely worried of putting a challenge in as Puncheon would have gone down and he would be being berated for giving away yet another penalty.

If Wilson gave him a shout then he was right to pass, if he didn't he should of just cleared his lines, too risky in that area of the pitch.
