Watching those pair in action would bring back memories.
They had such a super relationship on the pitch. At times, I thought Fuller would only pass to Lawrence because he knew Liam was the only player capable of getting the ball back to him where he wanted it.
They were a joy to watch. Liam returning to our starting 11 in that first season was as important as any other moment in that first season. The team we finished with that season was several times better than the team Pulis finished up with and it cost a pittance.
Sorenson Wilko, Shawcross, Faye, Higgy Liam, Rory, Whelan , Ethers Fuller, Beattie
A team assembled for less than 10m quid and a mighty fine 11 it was as well. Most of those lads, particularly at their best, would stroll into the team that Pulis left behind in May 2013.

I was joking mate.......you did know that though ( winky thingy ) As I recall we were losing 1-0 at half time at Coventry. Despite this the half time sing song in the packed concourse was inspiring. When Fuller & Lawrence scored in the second half , I think that most of the massive Stoke away following realised that we were on our way to the Premier League. It was the match that Lawrence took off his shirt to reveal his magnificent physique . ....... I'm not Stoke on Trent (rhyming slang) by the way.

Hull away? What a great day that was, goals from the pair of them, never forget that Lawrence strike though, absolutely special. The win that saw us hit that magical 40 point mark with 2 games to go.

I don't think the following was that big, I'm sure we only took 2,000. We defo didn't sell out. Our attendances that season were very poor, The game at Colchester didn't sell out until 2 days before and we only had 900 tickets. It was a fantastic game though, one of my all time top 10 away days.

Stokie what a insight ,its the game Cartwright should be at ,
We had this and now we have that , both would get in my stoke squad for tomorrow Lawrence because he is better than pennant , fitter than pennant , can pick a pass and deliver a deadball , Fuller because we didn't have a striker on the bench last week , this week we will have one who has never scored or started in the premier league , and because he could change the game in the last twenty minutes and because we have a manager who tries at least by and large to win the game with his subs not , not lose it .

Neither Fuller or Lawrence starting today - how about following Danny Collins vs Ben Marshall instead?
