For me we have to sign him or Diouff. It'll be the final piece in the jigsaw.

Seems all the media are talking about is de Jong to Newcastle.
Thats probably how it will pan out.

Newcastle want him on loan. If his club would rather sell him that would give us an opening if we can stump up the cash.
For me Dejong looks slightly the better option than Diouf.

If they're only offering a loan and we want to buy you'd have to put us as favourites. Plus he'd be the main man for us whereas there he'd be playing second fiddle to Remy and Cisse.

This makes sense. I don't know anything about De Jong or Diouf, but I don't like the way the move for Diouf has dragged on for so long.

I just can't see this happening, and to be honest in not so sure about it anyway. Don't get me wrong I'd be happy if we signed him, I'm just a little worried about his failure to score goals in Germany. Is he just another player who looks good in Holland but falls short in better leagues? Add to that his large transfer fee and I just think we should leave this guy to Newcastle. Diouf all the way for me.

I would take Cisse off them if he doesnt want to go to Qatar. Had a poor season but he knows where the back of the net is. Could get him for 4 million or so?

Would he consider another club sponsored by a betting company?

I'd take Cisse, we need something like that up front. That said, his little tantrums could cause more problems than he solves.

Been offered £9m I think but want £10m.
Ridiculous I know for him, especially after this season's comparative drought but, in their defence, they are seriously deluded up there anyway.

I still can't see him getting a much more increased amount of game time for 'Castle. Good deal for Gladbach though.

For me Diouf looks better than De Jong! De Jong looks slower and more like crouch! Surely we want a different option as you would then have Crouch, guidetti and Diouf to pick from all with different attributes!

Joe should do a great job persuading him that Newcastle is definitely not the best option.

To be fair Grapey, if JK is handling this personally, the deal will be off and we await the outbreak of WWIII.

Well if Ki'nell has fone to Germany, he has gone to the wrong bloody country!!
Newcastle hope to address that clamour for a new face by sealing a loan move for De Jong.
The under-used Gladbach striker remains on a winter tour with the Bundesliga club in Turkey, with a loan fee still holding the transfer up.
Borussia would sell De Jong for £7million to any prospective bidders but neither United or Stoke are prepared to gamble and want to take him on a temporary switch.
De Jong - who played in the second half of Gladbach’s 2-1 win over St Gallen in Turkey yesterday during a friendly win - has already told his representatives he favours a move to Newcastle.

I think Kinnear doing the bidding himself is the best possible outcome for Stoke. He'll probably get his man and insult them in the proccess then get his fat ass in his copter and piss off back to castle with no fucks given either way tbh.
