Farad Al Zarraa – coach: Qatar
1st: Cristiano Ronaldo 2nd: Lionel Messi 3rd: Radamel Falcao
Perfectly reasonable voting from the Qatari, wouldn’t you agree?
Until he said this: “I was told by my president to vote for Ronaldo to help Blatter clean up his image as a toke of appreciation for bringing the World Cup here”… Ah, that’s called vote-rigging. And it’s not cool. Best not mention it in public.
Incidentally, Qatar’s captain and media representative also voted for Ronaldo. Corruption…what corruption?
In a article about about Ballon D'or voting.

I posted similar in a Facebook rant earlier mate!
-------------------------------------------------------
If you didnt think football was corrupt, West Ham have been given a work pemit for a young 23 year old lad with 8 caps for Congo or somewhere who hasnt played enough games to qualify for one automatically
Chelsea were given a permit for a 19 year old who nobody has heard of
...yet Stoke City were turned down last month for a 21 year old American starlet who has only missed the required amount of games through injury, and is one of the highest rated properties coming from that country
I'm not saying the FA is full of West Ham sympathisers or former players (even though it is), or that they bow down to the bigger clubs who seem to be able to sign whoever they want from wherever (they do), but the facts seem.....
Mind you its only little old Stoke City, they dont matter.
I've read that the Premier League wasnt happy though about it, so hopefully Juans permit decision will get reversed in March. Still stinks to high heaven though - a country that seemingly cant control who comes in or out even if not making any contribution turns away high profile footballers paying 50% tax of a ridiculous wage!

To be fair to the FA it must be difficult to spot corruption through the haze of all those brown envelopes stuffed with cash changing hands.

Well said that man. I have a lot of mates who are Ammers so by rights I should like them but there's something about the club I just don't like. There's a definate favouritism by the media (how many live games even in the Championship) and the FA (Olympic Stadium farce, Tevez and now this).
