Nice to see there was absolutely no reaction in the media over his ridiculous challenge on Nasri which has ended his World Cup hopes.
Pellegrini needs to talk with Wenger on how to subvert the London press to your own ends.

Alan Brazil wasn't too impressed with it on TalkShite this morning.

Under the new rules he could still get banned despite the referee booking him(I think).

It was a horrifying tackle. Worse than the Callum McManaman tackle last season which resulted in mass media hysteria.

Imagine if Shawcross had made that tackle - there'd be calls for executions in the press.

It was the fact that he had two bites at the cherry which made it even worse. First challenge simply a rather clumsy tackle which didn't stop Nasri so Mbiwa decides to make the next one count knowing that, by then, he had no chance of winning the ball and every chance of hurting his opponent.
If the rules don't allow the FA to ban him then it will serve him right if Nasri takes him to court.

It was a bad tackle, not an evil one.....But anyway who cares? Its not like he is one of our players, and Man City have a big enough squad to cover injury.

the press HAVE talked about it a lot...or are we just going to ignore actual facts so we can carry on this tiresome "The world's against Stoke" bullsiht?
