Gutted with the result but sometimes you just have to appreciate a great game of football. Dissapointed to see Sterling go down so easily for the penalty, but other than that I've got no complaints. Wilson shouldn't have stuck a leg out and given him the chance to go over. We probably should have had at least one penalty ourselves for Skirtles wrestling in the box but we've done it enough ourselves over the years for me to accept that you live by the sword and die by the sword. That game was everything that's great about English football and hats off to a Liverpool side that just had a bit too much quality for us up front. Suarez is different class and a pleasure to watch right now.
We never ever stopped going after them, and although we made some dreadfull mistakes at the back, we never deserved to lose that game.

You may not have any complaints but I fucking do. Wilson didn't actually stick a leg out. Sterling initially hand balled, then obviously dived. I genuinely thought when the ref blew he was booking Sterling for the dive. Later a blatant handball should have been a pen for us. Skirtl clearly fouled in the box at least twice. I'm not one of those who routinely slags refs off, but we've been shafted today

Get a grip youth, never handball from Sterling with the ball smashed against him, and the Suarez handball.....seriously?
As for Skirtles wrestling, we've done that a million times over the years to great effect.
Great game, great effort from us and in the end we were beaten because the have more quality up front than we do.

So. Would you rather watch Stoke play like that and lose by 2 goals, or play like drains and draw? Because the 2nd option's happened often enough....

Then when I discover I was in fact right all along, I'll be back on here expecting an apology (smiley winky thing.....)

For me we had no luck today (again) from looking at replays if we were the bigger club the decisions would have been reversed.
Sterling yes he was close but defo handball.
Minimum contact never a pen
Suarez defo handball and a pen.
That said out defence were so bad still think the best we would have got was a draw.

It would be a pleasure to watch that ref get handed his P45.

It's never good to watch when you lose like that. But we played quite well everywhere but in defence. Wilson must have been scared of Suarez, his decision making was abysmal.

Performances like today will fill the stadium which will only be good for the team going forward.

EDIT: Add Brendan Rodgers to this as well.....

(Winky thing) He isn't mate, Sterling's arm is in an unnatural position, handball. My dog has ran into me harder than Wilson ran into sterling and I didn't fall over, cheating cunt, no pen. Suarez got 2 arms in his chest, definitely a penalty

(Winky thing) You're watching it sober? That's freaky. To be honest I've forgotten what the argument was about. Which bit am I wrong in? Sterling didn't dive? Skirtl didn't commit any fouls in the box? There was no occasion when a 'pool player blocked a shot with both arms in front of his chest?

On a another day we would have won the game. Arnie and Adam were brilliant and if we play like that for the rest of the season we will have no relegation worries.

Like I said, Sterling went down easily but Wilson made it easy for him. Not saying its right and it should not have been a penalty.
The Skirtel incidents you just have to get over, were done it week in week out for years. No complaints when other teams get away with it.
The "handball" claims are nonsense IMO. Sterling knew nowt about it, and Suarez tucked his arms in as a ball was blasted at him. No intent, in fact his intent was to get his arms out of the way. If that was given against us I would have gone fucking ape shit.
We can argue to details all day, but that was a fucking great game of football. Like I said, gutted with the result, dissapointed with some poor defending but you don't get games like that every week and we should be taking the positives out of it.

Suarez trying to get his arms out of the way? By tucking then together directly in the flight of the ball? He made a conscious effort to protect his body with his arms. In moving his arms he thus is guilty of handball.
