Just watched David Cameron taking a photo opportunity at the World War One battlefields. I could not help but think, that if he was our Prime Minister of the day, he would have acted no differently than they did 100 Years ago.
A more depressing thought also came to me that if it were any other of our current political leaders, they too would have supported the slaughter of so many men.

The much maligned Milliband I suspect may have a different view on it I reckon.

Strange how a man from this country's out of touch political elite, is trying to defend our country's out of touch political elite from 100 years ago. I wonder how many family connections there are between this government and the one of the day.
