Will the FA do him for throwing a punch?
Shows our current state at the moment, he couldn't even land it from 2 yards.

No because the ref saw it and dealt with it.

The only passion he showed all game. Gave the ball away several times and jogged back towards his own goal, as his fellow players ran to try and rescue the situation. Such a skilful player and so composed on the ball, but seems unwilling to work and defend when required.

I appreciate the man is our best midfield player by a country mile on his day but i would have him out of the club in January. Nothing but a temperamental childish twat

No because the ref saw it and dealt with it. This. I said at the time that he was soooo lucky that he got a talking to from Friend about it. If he hadn't done, then who knows?

He needs replacing. Petulant and not as good as he thinks he is.
He's not a hard enough grafter to play in a sitting two in our system and he can't tackle for toffee. He's not progressive enough with the ball to play further up the pitch and overall he lacks pace.
On top of all that I think he's started to hide in games which is criminal in itself.

Very poor on the second goal today summed up his bad side , such a shame because he has the ability to be the complete midfield player , just not the character it would seem

Without doubt a very talented player and I sympathise for him in a way. Receives the ball and there's very little on offer for him, midfield throughout is much of muchness really.

What he should do is run around like a lunatic , chasing lost causes and giving away ridiculous yellow cards. Then people would fucking love him and try to suggest that we don't see what he does and that he breaks up play.

Put him in arsenals midfield and he'd be a great player. Hope we see the benefit of him with new signings in january / summer

Best outfield player at the club Yet 9 times out of 10 when he receives the ball our attack breaks down because he looks to pass back or sideways? Welcome to the holding midfield role! I wish our fans would appreciate the fact we are trying to play a different kind of way. I guess you would much rather Ryan just constantly smacked the ball up top to Crouch for 90 mins instead? There's not a lot we can expect from him when he's forced to play alongside other players who also want the same position on the field either.

There's not a lot we can expect from him when he's forced to play alongside other players who also want the same position on the field either. There's two sides to the holding midfield role though, especially in a 4-2-3-1. The midfield two have to be disciplined and they have to be able to break up anything and everything that comes close. Take a look at Dembele's goal yesterday and one of Swansea's goals earlier in the season. Dreadful discipline and defending from him on both. For the Swansea goal he actually runs forwards as the Swansea lad moves towards our goal. He runs to get on the wrong side. Followed by the usual arm flinging and hands on hips look that he has started to make his own. I'm no fan of Whelan either but if it was a straight choice between the two i'd take Whelan every time.

Sell him, really?! May as well advocate getting rid of Begovic and Shawcross too, if we're going down the route of selling our most important players.

Very poor on the second goal today summed up his bad side , such a shame because he has the ability to be the complete midfield player , just not the character it would seem I noticed fans favourite Geoff "USA" Cameron busting a gut to throw himself bravely in front of the ball as well. Still, lets just give N'zonzi some stick. He's a miserable, petulant twat, but god help us if we are without him for any length of time. His pushing away of Adebayor was only a red card if Martin Atkinson was the ref. He wasn't lucky to stay on the pitch at all and it wasn't a punch or attempted punch in anyway shape or form.

He was abysmal for the second goal. Utterly dreadful and Palacios might as well have been sitting in the pub with me for all the use he was.
